There are advantages to help team development by not being in a dominate conference. There is the opportunity to develop confidence, hope and belief, because you can play poorly and still win. This keeps a team buying in and striving to get better. However at the highest level and in meaningful games. Its not near enough to overcome talent and steel sharpening steel.
The SEC is Underrepresented in CFB Playoff's Best ACC Team would be 9th in the SEC Best BIG12 Team would be be 13th in the SEC
@@thomasmoss1066 I agree…but for this year…try to explain that to the seniors and explain that to probably the best quarterback in the nation with highest scoring offense.
Hey their stats are up being in the ACC. Maybe they can play a quality opponent in a bowl game and get some great tape for the NFL draft. Clearly Div 1 - CFB needs an A and B league. UM other than not having a stadium should be in the A league. Players are paid now so I really not that concern, but when a player is doing the calculus on where to play that needs to be a part of their choice.
@thomasmoss1066 most of college football would rather have recruiting not be a factor. They would prefer the Strength Of Schedule be based on the winning percentage of the opponents you play. Because if the SOS was based on the quality of your opponents, it'll lean in favor of the conference that produces the most NFL players for the last 18 year in a row. Winning percentage makes Boise State look like a juggernaut. It's not until you realize that Kentucky alone produced double the amount of NFL talent in 2024 than the entire conferences Boise is in (Mountain West). Then you realize, there's a difference. The FBS does indeed need to be split. Split in half is the bare minimum. 3 tiers would be more accurate.
Miami quality wins…Florida, Louisville and 9-3 Duke. Bama quality wins Georgia, S Carolina and a 8-4 LSU, Bama lost 24-3 to a 6-6 Oklahoma ( and it was a butt kicking) lost 40-35 to a 6-6 Vandy ( which might be even worse than the Oklahoma loss, because Vandy does not NEARLY have the same talent as Oklahoma, let alone Bama) and Tennessee ( good team and nothing to be ashamed of) Miami lost by 4 to a 9-3 Syracuse team that has an elite offense, and by 5 to a solid Ga Tech team who basically should have beat Georgia in Athens, ( unfortunate targeting or non targeting call) and lost in EIGHT overtimes. Ga Tech is a pain in the neck to play with their style. They play keep away and they are good at it. Yes, Bama has the higher profile quality wins, but both teams have just 3. There is no doubt that Bama has not only one more loss, than Miami , therefore one less win…but 2 unacceptable losses. 😊
I have my own solution. Which I believe anyone else who feels the same should do. Boycott them or call them out every chance we get. On every platform, or create a platform to call them out on.
Sankey got this done. They wanted 4 teams a piece form Big 10 and SEC in the negotiations. Didn't get it. Those 2 conference presidents then proceeded to get sand in their panties. Now look at what we have? Each conference got 4 in. No matter what happened, Indiana was staying top 11 and they were going to get alabama in. The games, the committee were simply fluff. ESPN runs college football with its contracts with those 2 conferences. Just visit espn and which 2 conferences do they pimp non stop? Miami because of Ward and Colorado because of Coach get love (and the Feinbaum and Steven A Smith of the world want him to go to the SEC, to benefit their employer). To use a Army figure of speech, D-1 college football is a big circle jerk.
Key Lesson(s) learned Donno. I understand you and your fellow UM Podcaster are scared shitless of Mario Cristobal, and being Cancelled from his Gerbelesque Press Briefings. So you Do Not Hit Him Hard on accountability. That said lesson 1. ---The ACC commissioner is on ESPN's payroll. 2. So, if you are an ACC Team in this new 12 Team playoff era, you need to understand you are starting your season 0-2. That is how inferior the ACC is to the SEC & BIG10. The ESPN (SEC) and FOX SPORTS (Big10) money tentacles reach far into ON2, 247, Rivals, Fandango!
You keep talking about records and it’s not just record. It’s SOS too. This has kept an ACC team out multiple times. Last year was a warning and two teams tried to leave. Now Miami gets to feel it too. How many times do you need to be told the ACC isn’t great in the committees eyes
Miami has Zero wins against currently ranked teams. The CFP Committee rewards signature wins. Miami has none. Alabama has 3 signature wins over #5, #14, and #19. You don't get rewarded for beating up on cupcakes.
I don’t feel sorry for Miami at all. It was all jokes when FSU got snubbed after being undefeated. Miami played a cupcake schedule and still couldn’t make the pool of 12
You can't compare FSU last year. The Noles went into their Bowl game 20+ underdog because the money says the truth. Then they got blown out. Alabama lost 3 freaking games and one 24-3. Miami got screwed
Even Alex looking at Kenton crazy 😂. Yeah, leave the deal making to the commissioners before you go on a mutiny with Troy. 😂 even the BCS looks at sos and sor
Y’all non playing the sport fans and ones that coulda, shoulda, woulda and didn’t in sports. Don’t complain the money and easy access is what you wanted and you got it. Alabama brings more of the Southern fan base. You wanted to laugh at FSU’s misfortunes last year because of a rivalry. Which most of us neither attended nor played for either school. For those that don’t remember High school football where you had a crappy freshman team because everybody was new to playing or new to each other. Because of conference structuring and no real restrictions on NIL deals (you couldn’t stop it illegally. How’s it gonna get better legally? It’s like accepting it’s bad) and add gambling more popular than ever (last time I saw just a scoring line was the 90’s) greed and generating wealth are at an all time high. So Miami’s, FSU and Clemson’s fan bases need to be more patient or support the Big Ten or SEC.
ACC is not a power conference, they can call it one all day long, but fact and reality is ACC is not. No one from the ACC should be in the playoffs cause there is no strength of schedule to go through in the ACC. How many ranked opponents did Clemson or SMU beat? What was the biggest quality win for Clemson this year? Please name one
And this is ridiculous. This is why I’ve been calling for certain schools to leave the NCA and start their own division because this is gotten ridiculous. Miami has two losses and just well the ACC is better. There’s no guarantee there are a lot of teams the SEC in my opinion or sorry to say it but their false teams they’re fake so that’s my opinion and the reality is if Miami was in the ACC I believe they would beat Alabama head-to-head this year because Alabama was not a great the greatest team in the world this year because the team in the past has a great players that make them the best doesn’t necessarily mean they’re the best this year. I’m not saying my name is a juggernaut and they will win the national. I don’t think they will win the national tunnel, but I do believe they should be there. I said before did all this stop give team bye make 16 to 32 teams. Let bowls game s be the first round and then you have true national champion . I get these “ students athletes but that stop when you start paying the players to go to certain schools. They’re no longer college athletes. They are professional athletes who just had to be going to school at this point. So let’s stop playing games expand 16 to 32. Whatever you wanna do let’s find the true national champion. I don’t wanna hear that the kids are being in school to get hurt all that if they’re gonna play football they need to play football they need to play and find a who let you national Champion stop playing these pity cat games Which is what’s going on. There are other schools besides the “”SEC in the Big Ten sorry this is not the Big Ten sec league. So let’s stop all this. Let’s play it out put all the chips on the table and let’s see who really is the juggernaut.
Pretty sure Miami losing 2 of the last 3 games had more to do with their not getting it than who they won or lost to or analytics. If they had the same record except both losses was in the first half of the season I'm pretty sure they're in

The ACC overall is trash right now and Miami dropped 2 games to crap teams and almost lost 2 more against crap teams. Miami has no defense at all letting below agerage teams put 38+ points on them. A 3 loss SEC team is more deserving than a 2 loss ACC team period. Hope they get matched up with Ole Miss or South Carolina in a bowl game so yall can see that Miami never belonged in the playoffs.
Here's how the committee really thinks about the ACC conference; 1. NOTRE DAME - ACC leader 2. Clemson 3. SMU if they hadn't lost to BYU 4. Syracuse if they hadn't been beat down by Stanford 5. Miami
@cuse445 Troy Taylor lodged an official post-game complaint about the phantom holding call at the end of the 1st quarter that took away a Stanford touchdown, ACC reviewed and concurred. Stanford should have never trailed Cuse, and the final field goal was unnecessary. Ohio State starting QBs have a poor record against the Cardinal.

Miami has 0 ranked wins and 2 losses against mid teams that are worse than OU or Vandy and STRUGGLED in several games agaisnt bad teams. The same arguments youre usint against bama apply 10 fold to miami lol Lousiville and Duke are also overrated. Theyre not good lol
Bama has 3 ranked wins and a win againsr Ga, and a way harder SOS at 17th.
Miami literallt has 0 arguments.

The SEC is Underrepresented in CFB Playoff's
Best ACC Team would be 9th in the SEC
Best BIG12 Team would be be 13th in the SEC
@thomasmoss1066 had Miami won out and made at least the semifinals i think the SEC would have extended an invite
@ UM has great potential. Possibilities are endless.
@@thomasmoss1066 I agree…but for this year…try to explain that to the seniors
and explain that to probably the best quarterback in the nation with highest scoring offense.
There is most definitely favoritism toward the sec and big10 !
Nooo....if we would've beaten Syracuse...we'd be in ...this is completely on the defense
Alabama gets rewarded for losing to them though. Also, play nine conferences games like a real conference.
Im here for the tears and oh my am I pleased lmao good lord this is priceless
I don’t feel sorry for Miami at all. It was all jokes when FSU got snubbed after being undefeated. Miami played a cupcake schedule and still couldn’t make the pool of 12
There is no respect for the ACC and Jim Philip need to go scorched earth for the ACC
You can't compare FSU last year. The Noles went into their Bowl game 20+ underdog because the money says the truth. Then they got blown out. Alabama lost 3 freaking games and one 24-3. Miami got screwed
SEC Bias is so obvious.
Its so funny seeing people get mad over Alabama 😂😂😂😂
What happens if Clemson beats SMU? Will SMU fall out of the rankings with an 11-2 record?
Remember, if you say you think the SEC is over-rated this year, YOU are an SEC HATER! lololol
Even Alex looking at Kenton crazy 😂. Yeah, leave the deal making to the commissioners before you go on a mutiny with Troy. 😂 even the BCS looks at sos and sor
These same crooks will be telling you how much they love GOD on Sunday and turn around and be sooo crooked soon as the doors open
There shouldn't even be 12 teams in the playoff to begin with
Y’all non playing the sport fans and ones that coulda, shoulda, woulda and didn’t in sports.
Did you watch the podcast?
That's why Miami needs to join Clemson & FSU in lawsuit to get out of ACC they clearly don't have any respect for the Conference...
Easy prediction: Every year the team with the most losses, who is allowed into the playoffs, will always be Alabama.
One of y'all's teams in the ACC no championship has done got beat by two SCC teams that Alabama beat. Enough said
Acc teams and big 12 teams will have to have a 2 game lead to stay above any big ten or sec school
Pretty sure Miami losing 2 of the last 3 games had more to do with their not getting it than who they won or lost to or analytics. If they had the same record except both losses was in the first half of the season I'm pretty sure they're in
Regardless. Miami screwed Miami.
Stop lieing
@@toddwebb7521 bama lost to a terrible Oklahoma team at the end of the year 24-3. And then played Mercer after. They get brownie points for that? Come on man
@@DaGenius-187to be fair they beat someone. Miami only beat their meat this year. Lost to the best teams they played.
Canes can only blame themselves losing 2 games they should have Won ,,,Giving up a 21pt lead? Not taking easy FGs vs GT ? Kicking a FG v Cuse and relying on a weak defense to stop Cuse with under 4 to play?? But I do agree Losing Late Hurts just like Beating the End of season Hype Gators in game #1 doesn't seem to count in the end ?? Can't lose Late in the season it's too Fresh ,,,

CFP : College Fantasy Playoffs
The sec has number 1&2 classes
People also ask
What is the ACC record vs SEC football?
the SEC. head to head the last 5 years at 28-26
COMMITTEE LEARNED LESSON FROM LAST YEAR, DIDN'T WAIT TO DROP TEAM BELOW SEC TEAM, DURING FINAL SELECTION WEEK😂🤣😅😆😁
Miami crushed a sec team. Bama had 3 losses and one gane they lost 24-3. The nation has Hated Miami since they destroyed everyone during the Dynasty years
ACC is the most trash conference ever. We learned from FSU last year and everyone knows UM can't keep up with a ranked team
Donno hatin, UNCONQUERED NOLES are 3rd, not 4th😂🤣😅😆😁
Maybe Miami, and NC State can finally win the ACC for once. Doubt it
So if SMU gets smoked by Clemson their still in?
Let’s stretch it out to top 30 and we have the same amount of wins…..😂😂😂😂
It should be 6 to 8 tops
If u line miami and Alabama right now who winning. Yall might as well quit hollering and start talking about recruiting for next year because Bama is safely in the playoffs
The same thing that happened to FLORIDA STATE last year, I wonder how the sec would be if it was more than 1 Team From The State Of Florida in it?, GO NOLES.
Y’all didn’t mind fsu getting snubbed last year lol
File an injunction and make them do a recount, OC Brian Brohm may take the FAU job, we got a stud receiver from Arkansas coming in, the #1 QB transfer is coming into town for an unofficial. Caulin Lacy is returning along with Isaac & Duke Watson. Murmurings of UK Coach Vince Marrow been hanging around UL lately. Ben Perry is gone, Chaney is leaving, but he was a bust.
ROLLTIDE❤
Stretch the top25 out to the top30 ??? Man take yo a$$ to bed dude - while you are at it, just go ahead and stretch it out to the top40 - better yet, stretch it out to the top50 and double up the top25 - GET REAL - Oklahoma and Vanderbilt both would have went (8-4) in the ACC this year - thats the part that you all are overlooking - Vanderbilt and Oklahoma played a tuff SEC schedule to arrive at the (6-6) records - Miami would probably have been (7-5) in the SEC (seriously)
Love the acc but um doesn't belong. They have NO defense!!
It's not just bama bias it's playoff committee b/s! This bama team is NOT the Saban led team anymore I don't see them winning another nat title for a long time but jmho
Wishful thinking
They sent this last year where was acc commissioner then we told everyone last year fsu won't be the only ones so cry me a river
Miami has no def!. They don't deserve to be in. I am an acc guy. Love the canes. But damn
ACC fans and media are delusional. Miami is 0-1 against top 25 teams.. hasn't beaten any ranked teams.
Here's how the committee really thinks about the ACC conference;
1. NOTRE DAME - ACC leader
2. Clemson
3. SMU if they hadn't lost to BYU
4. Syracuse if they hadn't been beat down by Stanford
5. Miami
26-24 last second loss is a beat down?
Notre Dame is independent. Has nothing to do with the ACC in football.
@vistatiger7493 you missing the entire point being made.
@@MichaelSmith-xb5cp You started with wrong information ND is not in ACC in football
Should’ve beat Syracuse.
Man its special watching yall try to make every excuse for Miami when it was perfectly fine that an undefeated FSU was left out 😂.. Carry on 😂
Whats resummay got to do with winning who side are you on anyway hurrrcane spokesmen
Just speaking the truth, by the way , it's. " RESUME"
lol little bit of karma from glazing Bama last year jumping fsu to get in.. how ironic .. AND yall had your qb ..
alabama put the beat down on mercer at home whats the problem
It's all about money and conference. The sec and the big 10. The same reason why there's only 1 Team From The State Of Florida in The sec. It's all about money.
FSU chose not to join the SEC when they were invited. I'm site Georgia Tech also regrets their decision too.
Go SMU! Go Miami U!
Watching the Giants Southeastern Conference propaganda Channel claiming and showing how you know the Southeastern Conference with all the viewer ships at the each team is pulling in eyeball wise well who's in charge and you know as far as giving away the key time spots for what teams play Oh ESPN oh in 97 Disney got bought out I mean Disney bought ESPN and Southeastern Conference and ESPN decided to become a couple basically it's not like they're taking care of their girl there on top of that then he brings up well we got the most recruiting you know the highest recruiting classes as far as best athletes well maybe that might be because before the nil you know they were cheating out their ass as far as recruiting you don't keep getting high you know number one recruiting class is like Alabama did 10 out of 13 years unless there was Major greasing going on okay stop it and then on top of that if you get away with that they didn't even get more does happen you have money now that you can use you got unjustly and you're able to go out and even make it you don't double down and all your stuff explain to me how the Southeastern Conference Championship game had no other games competing against it but yet the Big 12 and the ACC I had they were competing against each other yet in the same time spot who set that up who made them times you know who who pushes your last year for a 13-0 team to be dropped out and not allowed into the 14th play off and pumps in a one to one lost teams ESPN who's crying and trying to get a 93 team in over at 11:01 team this year oh ESPN and only difference between last year Southeastern Conference teams this year before Disney bought ESPN is awful funny the Southeastern Conference as far as championships went averaged out to be about the same as other conferences after 97 all the sudden they basically accrued the same amount of national titles in 24 years that they did in 42 before who is on the soapbox when Bama lost LSU in the championship Southeastern Conference game and next game that was to be played in the national championship game we had a repeat how the hell is that happen biased
Funny to see the canes crying

No Miami should not be in the playoffs. 21-0 and the lost.
Miami has the same SEC away game W-L record as Alabama….1 the team Alabama beat away which is LSU lost to Florida guess who Miami beat 41-17….Florida, in the swamp. CFP is a joke!!!
