Very cool to see a Vampire commander card that's not tribal focused! Cool theme, cool idea, and cool decklist! Thanks for the ideas, might put something like it together for my playgroup~
Saw you play this on UA-cam. It looked very nice. Only problem i noticed was a way to close out the game besides group slug. It sucks that torment is a 2 cmc card.
@@CommanderMechanic swift answer, appreciate that !! Bought a halo foil obosh because it looked so good, a deck with this idea / direction will be perfect. Im afraid with obosh as the main commander he will be too much of a kill on sight target. Plus if you have to build the deck entirely around him but you’re always getting him removed, your power just spirals down Good stuff
Any change in life total - be it exchange or otherwise - is considered "life gain" or "life loss"! Re Rules on Tree: When the ability resolves, Tree of Perdition’s toughness becomes the targeted opponent’s former life total and that player gains or loses an amount of life necessary so that their life total equals Tree of Perdition’s former toughness. Other effects that interact with life gain or life loss will interact with this effect accordingly.
imma try dragons approach with this, it think it can dig so deep i could find thrumming stone and go off
Florian + Obosh with Dragon's Approach & Thrumming Stone absolutely works!
would be very cool to see a black red storm build for this in edh

Love group slug! This looks fun!
Saw this guy at my prerelease and it seriously put in work in sealed
I had him in my sealed pool, too - there's a lot of incidental damage floating around so getting to look at even 1-2 more cards is really fantastic.
Why is this deck so exciting? Now I want to try it, but I can't :(
You can try anything if you put your mind to it!

Ya the deck performed very well - relying on 1 CMC X-spells to finish a game off is a bit rough as you're very limited.
@@CommanderMechanic I might play test this with Dragons approach to see if it's too powerful.
I may use him in my Mogis deck 🤘
I think he fits right at home in a lot of group slug strategies!
Does anyone else have that issue where i cant open the decklist ?
my former deck site changed their linking system. You can find the new link here:

Good stuff
How about grenzo dungeon warden he can give you even more stuff with florian
Too rich for my blood, but love the ideas you presented here
The build definitely includes some pricey pieces - cut out the Wheel of Fortune and the Mana Vault and it's quite reasonable!
@@CommanderMechanic fair enough! Excited to see more innistrad brews from you specifically
I dont think Tre of Perditions works does it? it exchanges life totals it doesnt deal damge or life loss

May I suggest Sanctum of Stone Fangs. It's 2 mana and hits each opponent while gaining you 1 life
Would tree of perdition work with Florian? Technically your opponent didn’t lose life, their life just became something else
Any negative change in life total is considered "loss of life" - even a swap!
