I discovered these guys on a Monday, looked them up and then saw them the Saturday of the same week. Literally one of the best bands i’ve heard in my entire life.

Now that I've seen what the barn ACTUALLY looks like, I've become more appreciative of what they produced. I have listened to their sets constantly so this adds a brighter context to their sound. Use of nature, dreams, etc. Khruangbin forever!

I see them playing live in Frankfurt, Germany. They sound so great and they playing so precisely together. Such a groove and spirit. Love this Music so much.

Amazing band repping Texas
Khruangbin gives me so much hope for instrumental music. It's annoying how many gigs have turned my groups down because they don't like that word. When I saw Khruangbin in Vail back in March it was liberating to see how much the crowd didn't give a fuck about not having lyrics to sing along to. It was dumping snow, everyone was soaking wet, the band was killing, and everyone was having such a great time.

This is so weird. I work in an open air pole barn on a farm making biochar with machines surrounded by savannas and often cows, in all kinds of weather. I have a pretty kick ass Bluetooth speaker. I play these guys, and similar music like Tommy Guerrero and Still Corners. I thought it was so good but, maybe inappropriate for my surroundings, but continued playing. My coworkers come and go but like only FM country. Seems I was onto something of sensing something all along. Thanks.

I’m not sure where I read it but I think I saw somebody say that because they (Mark & Laura) were already in the music industry previously (they went on tour with Yppah & Bonobo), they did it to differentiate themselves from their previous gigs and to kind of make their own name for themselves, but not sure how accurate that is, as I can’t seem to find where I read that.
I also found this quote in an interview - “Speer and Lee wear similar Prince Valiant-cut wigs, a practice they claim helped them move from stage to merch stand without being recognized during early tours.” - But that doesn’t really explain why they wear them though.
