Recipe - Dr. Pepper Chicken

Ingredients:
4-6 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
1/2 c Dr. Pepper
1/2 c barbecue sauce
1/2 c ketchup
1 tbsp brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Additional seasonings (e.g., BBQ rub) as desired
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Salt, pepper, and season chicken on both sides and arrange in a 13 x 9 baking dish.
Mix together 1/2 cup of Dr. Pepper, 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce and 1/2 cup of ketchup, along with brown sugar.
Pour it over the chicken.
-Sprinkle with brown sugar (optional) and bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 1 hour.
Serve with rice.

I love chipmunks too! My dog and I look for them on our walks all the time. Love the clip of you feeding peanuts to a chipmunk and I LOVE the chipmunk shirt! The recipe looks delicious - I can't wait to try it. And what a great performance! Can't wait until Friday!
Thank you! Ha - my dog Buddy is outside in the backyard looking for some as we speak (not to worry - he's the worst hunter in the world 😁). I've got a few more clips of chipmunks in the channel library, too!

Haha! Thank you, Jan! I don't usually get the voices mixed up, but that's only because I have little sound clips of each character on the computer screen in front of me, and I do frequently stop and listen ("Now, what does this person sound like again?"), sometimes even in the middle of a conversation (especially if it's someone who hasn't been in the story for a bit, or even in that book).
I love when you make recipes and this one looks delicious and simple is always good. You could make it in a crockpot to keep from heating up the kitchen. I think this is Book 2 in this series. I am glad that Homer is having something good to happen to him since he has put his life on hold to take care of his Mother after his Father left. I look forward to reading and listening to this book. Thanks for the preview. I love your shirt even though we could only see the top of the chipmunk's head. If you wear it again back up further so we can see the whole picture. I love your chipmunk videos.
