- This is the added extra clip from the main Windsor Castle Changing of the guard video.
Around every two hours, 4 guardsmen replaces the old 4 guardsmen that happens around the castle.
The Queen's guards stop for no-one so if you visit there, remember to watch your back!

Ha ha ha...... the studs on the bottom of their boots are proper slippery, my Dad used to be a Grenadier Guardsman and said they're a right pain. Have you seen the meme of the Household Cavalry trooper moon walk in his boots? It's really good...
XuroX they don't wear this uniform when they are on active duty, they have what they call green duty and red duty and wear a different uniform for each
These tunics and parade boots are for ceremonial purposes. You must be a dumbarse to actually think that they actually wear those red tunics for Field combat.

Bit of a mishap nearly there then, rear guardsman could of got a bayonet in his face....
The L/cpl was a tad sloppy with his drill, he should be setting an example to the Guardsman. Could be said it's been a long day for him and it takes around 45 minutes to post the guards around the castle and no sooner is he back he's just about getting the next relief ready, but he should have pride in that uniform and all it means it's his time to show off with good drill and words of command.

Sorry. But some of that patrol marching plus the steps to and from getting orders from the brief seem quite sloppy and loungy. I would have expected more precision and military crispness. Surprising.
That Lance Corporal needs to work on his voice, his commands were barely audible.

A great video but lcpl has to turn up some things first he needs to shout a little louder he needs to stomp a little harder and he needs to march faster

Never seen so slack drill especially the corporal, when we were on public duties your drill had to be short sharp and shit hot, head up neck in the back of the collar straight arms and march on the heel to make a crunch with your studs and bend and drive when you come to the halt .

@London and Windsor Ceremonial im not judging, that is just my oppinion from seeing other videos that they usually shout at tourists who are blocking their way, but I was surprised they didnt do that here. And I just want to ask, why is one of the guardsmen there overweight? 6:12

@@navvet4518 its a bit weird to compare them to the sentinels who guard the tomb in the u.s. yes they are both honor guards but with different duties/ roles in mind. Plus different traditions and stuff so its a bit far fetched to try and compare them.
