This was not an audition this was Angelina's coming out concert to the world. She owns the stage the minute she steps on it. The bare footed princess of song has entered the building... Angelina's opening phrase just mesmerizers and masterfully commands everyone's full silence and awe of her vocal artistry. She has fulfilled her stated dream of becoming a super star from a young girl of barely 6 years old, however, she has now gone way beyond that and has now become a Jazz singing living legend barely starting her teenage years of life.
Already as 3 year old ANGELina saw a talent show where Simon was judge and she told her mom "I'm wonna sing for him" "Oh, honey, you too young" her mom replied. Reluctantly her mom let her join the audition on NGT, little did she know where it would lead and that she would win. Her parents have been protective of her and turned down a lot of offers, but now they felt she was ready, and it is 10 yrs since that first time seing Simon. I follow her 6 years now, since she was 7 years old and she won Norway got talent. I listen all her covers and with her smokey , raspy voice and her emotions when she sing, all covers are better than original songs. I just love her. She is amazing now and she will be huge legend one day. This performance is stuning. Even Queen Woows her performance on Twitter. Will be mesmerizing if Angelina and Queen do this song together one day.

I agree with everything you said. There is a way to play this game. In Europe she is known. Its my understanding Angelina is getting ready to release her next LP. Win or lose she now has a very positive first step in the USA. Her fan base just doubled if not tripled. I think the exposure will definitely boost album sales. This show (AGT Champions) plus some live performances at SXSW (which helped jump start Amy Winehous brand) will give her a sold foot hold in America. I think she has a very smart management team. They have done a great job protecting her. At the same time giving her opportunity to perform in very choice venues through out the world. Stay genuine and develop 'thick skin'. If you try to avoid all haters, there will be nothing left of you. This has worked wonders in my life, and that's why I'm pushing this on my kids, who seem to do well with it too. Angelina is my favourite performer in the world, but far from everything she does is perfect or even very good. But she's genuine, so her best performances are legendary, and that's more than enough for me.

I subscribed when you first discovered Angelina but unsubscribed because you hadn't reacted for a lengthy period. I am sorry that you received negative comments on your last reaction and am reasonably sure they would not have come from any of the thousands of Angelina's fans. Just bear in mind that if Angelina is covering an original she does NOT copy or try to imitate the original artist. She will adapt both lyrics and music to reflect what she feels is the true interpretation of both. It is accepted that not everyone will be enamoured with what she has done but if a reason is given for a comment not in tune with her fans it will be accepted. This was not an audition this was Angelina's coming out concert to the world. She owns the stage the minute she steps on it. The bare footed princess of song has entered the building... Angelina's opening phrase just mesmerizers and masterfully commands everyone's full silence and awe of her vocal artistry. She has fulfilled her stated dream of becoming a super star from a young girl of barely 6 years old, however, she has now gone way beyond that and has now become a Jazz singing living legend barely starting her teenage years of life.

Already as 3 year old ANGELina saw a talent show where Simon was judge and she told her mom "I'm wonna sing for him" "Oh, honey, you too young" her mom replied.
Reluctantly her mom let her join the audition on NGT, little did she know where it would lead and that she would win.
Her parents have been protective of her and turned down a lot of offers, but now they felt she was ready, and it is 10 yrs since that first time seing Simon.

I agree with everything you said. There is a way to play this game. In Europe she is known. Its my understanding Angelina is getting ready to release her next LP. Win or lose she now has a very positive first step in the USA. Her fan base just doubled if not tripled. I think the exposure will definitely boost album sales. This show (AGT Champions) plus some live performances at SXSW (which helped jump start Amy Winehous brand) will give her a sold foot hold in America. I think she has a very smart management team. They have done a great job protecting her. At the same time giving her opportunity to perform in very choice venues through out the world. I still remember that I was shocked in a positive way, and I have ever since that time been a fan. A fan of a child. I wouldn't believed it if you had asked me 10 years ago.
I have never been interested in the jazz music genre , but Angelina's interpretations of old jazz music classics has "opened my eyes" for that kind of music for sure, and in a way "touched me".
In the past year she has posted some great covers of modern music as well.

This is a long comment. You have a new subscriber! Well, that is not entirely correct. I subscribed when you first discovered Angelina but unsubscribed because you hadn't reacted for a lengthy period. I am sorry that you received negative comments on your last reaction and am reasonably sure they would not have come from any of the thousands of Angelina's fans. Just bear in mind that if Angelina is covering an original she does NOT copy or try to imitate the original artist. She will adapt both lyrics and music to reflect what she feels is the true interpretation of both. It is accepted that not everyone will be enamoured with what she has done but if a reason is given for a comment not in tune with her fans it will be accepted. What I cannot abide, is the reactor who exhibits false enthusiasm, just to retain and/or increase their subscribers. Anything else, if genuine is accepted.
Having said all that, thank you for your very good reaction to my favourite singer. Believe me, there is no other singer like her. Simon Cowell was correct in saying he had never heard this version before, because Angelina rewrote it for the performance. She took the the lyrics she wished to use and then rearranged them, and then rearranged the music, until she was sure that both truly reflected what she wanted to achieve in her performance. I found it hauntingly beautiful.
