Hey. Finally bought f# bass pvc. Didn't go for G bass because it was 490rs so delivery charge was there. But this f# was 500rs so free delivery 😅. And it's amazing. If blown correctly, it sounds so good. Has good overtones response.

Thanks for the review, I was about to purchase this one but stopped after this video. It seems the distance between last holes would be quite troublesome for beginners. If not G bass, which bass note flute would you recommend for someone starting? I find medium flute sound quite sharp that's why looking for a mellow bass flute.

You should go for A bass or A# bass, I personally started with A bass (23 inch) flute.

Which flute should i buy F Base or G Base as i want a mellow and deep sound.
I have played the c middle for quite a long time.

Since you already have a grip on medium size flute, you may pick any of the F or G bass.
However I would suggest to choose G first and later on F or even E bass.
I hv the same, but couldn't play high notes accurately.
Pls make a cover of "moh moh ke dhaage"
Ya...High notes are difficult in the beginning.
Do one thing, play early morning for at least 30 mins on Bass while also trying to blow on high notes. Take a break and play again for at least 2 times during the day on the same Bass flute.
Do this for a week and see change.

How is it's sound quality compared to premium bamboo flutes?
17-20...obviously Bamboo has its own touch, but I suggest to buy both and check which one meets your requirements. You may compare with medium size flutes as Bass Bamboo flutes are quite expensive.

Sir I am beginner nd not know anything about flute like how to blowing nd making sound I had ordered the same g base flute before 1 month ago after seeing your review , however I found it quite hard to make sound through that. although flute is fine but for me its getting very tough to make my finger placement on right hole.holding flute is also a huge challenge for me because its like bulky pipe .sir kindly pls suggest me what should I do ..is it common problem or for me flute is not right choice to play .nd also pls suggest some other substitute or way to play flute. how much time its take to learn flute 🙏 Thanku sir
Hi Disha,
For a beginner C or C# medium is best because of its size. One need to practice a lot before switching to a Bass Flute like G bass.
But no worries, at least now you know what it takes to play a Bass Flute...you can buy any medium sized flute and start playing sargam on it. As a beginner you need to first adjust your palm and fingers as per the proper posture while playing the flute.
