THANK YOU!! So underrated!! Gorgeous production (wooden components worth upgrading to), fantastic puzzle, different setup each time with a variety of cards, you can choose different strategies, animeeples are incredible, bag is silky smooth (big enough for your hands and you can freaking look inside to see what's left in there if you don't remember), and solo is a breeze! The animal expansion is nice, too!
I managed to get a copy of this when visiting Canada after having it recommended to me and missing the Kickstarter. We've only played it 2 player but we both love it, my wife does like a heavy crunchy game which helps. This looks super cute but is a real thinky game.
I really wanted to and want to like one. I only play it solo and felt that the first scenario with the turn limit was not great. I loved the scenarios in Wild: Serengeti but felt that the bag for solo mode just was almost impossible to turn over enough. The production value of it is amazing. It's got way too much going on for my wife to probably try it. So it sits until maybe it gets a second chance from me.
@@rahdo I think it will be a great game at 2p as you aren't limited to a set number of turns. Maybe I can get my wife to play but I know where her line is and I'm pretty sure this jumps the line with so many things going on.
I am getting really frustrated by the recent "best ever" reviewers are doing. SU & SD as they name Arcs the best game ever made. It's feels like it's really promoting FOMO in a way that feels toxic.
i'm just telling you the truth. it's up to you to decide whether you believe me. or instead, you can watch the runthrough and decide for yourself if it looks like fun :) ua-cam.com/video/OtePLVrtdss/v-deo.html
