Honestly knowing the end makes me more attentive during the movie/book cuz you wanna know WHY or HOW the whole thing led to that ending. You also participate in guessing the in-between part which makes the experience more fun!
Totally agree with loving a spoiler. Knowing the ending doesn’t ruin the viewing experience because it’s about the journey there. Kinda like that song, “It’s not about the mountain, it’s the climb.” I do the same with books. I’ll read the end first. It still doesn’t take away from how the story gets there.🤷🏻♀️

I have always googled who dies before watching something where I might care about the characters. I have to prepare myself for the shock. I can’t deal with death since dad died. It’s pretty sad to care about fictitious characters. But hey I’m just a big baby what can I say. I would never ever spoil for anyone I’m watching with though.

I agree with the spoilers opinion. I dont like the suspense of not knowing. The buildup kills me. I had to walk out during Infinity War and go take a breath cause the tension was giving me such bad anxiety
I always read the last few pages of a book just in case it ends on a really sad note since it can trigger a downward spiral- depending on what the story is about. Suicide, war, religion, and murder (that we read about in the first person or directly narrated by a loved one not like murder mystery) can really hit me hard.

I couldn't agree more about the spoilers!!! I enjoy the "HOW" rather than "WHAT" in movies, book, etc... The process on HOW the storyline was built, the dialogues, the climaxes, the plot twists are more important than who dies or gets the boy/girl... Even knowing if Ironman dies or not, the we get there is way more interesting...

The tomatoes lie all of the time. So often, in fact, that I don't trust them AT ALL anymore. I enjoyed Lion King 2 quite a bit, actually, and feel it's underrated. The 1990 Ninja Turtles movie is 40% on Rotten Tomatoes, for example.

The new Aladdin had a low score too I think and 99% of (a ton of) comments I've seen LOVE it. So I don't really believe the critics there.

When I first watched GoT, I knew Ned and Robb were going to be killed. Didn't know when, how or who by by knowing their died didn't ruin anything.
