Drupal 10 is introducing the latest iteration of the WYSIWYG editor - CKEditor 5. Here's a good article about it: ckeditor.com/b...
We'll have more information as Drupal 10 is released, but this is a great update!

First sentence wrong, D10 release date is 2022 not 2023

I noticed CKEditor 5 doesn't allow to edit tables properties such as cell width. Is that by design, or is the new Olivero theme overriding that option?

My impression is that it's for responsive design. My practice is actually to set the entire table to 100% width and let Drupal manage it. You get responsive tables every time.

Drupal 10 has learned how to update at the touch of a button, or do we still need to learn the basics of system administration?

Drupal sites will never be able to upgrade with a simple touch of a button due to contrib modules rarely ever being up to date.

You should use the Media button for that, along with the media manager. ua-cam.com/video/8PTqUib5IZ0/v-deo.html. If you're looking for files other than images, video and documents, you'll need something like www.drupal.org/project/embed
