welcome to a crafty girl artist vlog, packed with lots of fun & artistic activities. first, I’m taking a trip to the antique store to search for some vintage treasures like unique artwork and retro clothes. I ended up scoring the perfect pair of vintage overalls to wear to the new maxxxine movie.
I’ll also show you a mini summer try-on haul featuring long, flowy, cotton dresses from olive clothing. I’ve been on the lookout for some quaity and timeless pieces that will become wardrobe staples.
throughout the vlog enjoy some fun mini activities (& cute aesthetic montages) like volunteering at the cat shelter, hiking, diy-ing an old thrifted shirt by dyeing it black, visiting a cool library, and shopping for art supplies.
later in the week, I dive into a home renovation/redecorating project: redoing my dining room! I rearranged all the furniture, painted the walls white, and refurbished an old bench with a new coat of paint. most of my attention is going into the gallery wall! I’m mixing vintage elements with contemproary artwork. the wall includes my grandma’s needlepoints, an antique mirror, an old banjo, wall-hanging ceramics, my own illustrations, watercolor paintings, and framed illustrations.

Also a lot of ppl do not realize this, but it is recommended to hang art work at eye level. Many ppl instead hang things high on the wall. Just a tip I had to learn the hard way 😊
