This is one of my favorite sprite battles featuring Shadow, along with Rewind Rumble's Mewtwo vs Shadow. This fight actually shows Shadow's nature as the *Ultimate* Life Form, something that Death Battle simply refuses to do. DB just sees him as the Ultimate Punching Bag, seeing as in DB and OMM, he has *no* wins under his belt. If they didn't ignore most of his feats and overall portray him poorly in his Death Battles, he wouldn't have lost.
besides Vegeta is treated more of a punching bag in his series than Shadow is. No offense its just the truth, in Z. He made a badass entrance against a villain, he talked then gets his ass beat or dies. The end

This is the most accurate Shadow Vs. Vegeta fight on UA-cam it shows both of their personalities and skills for example Vegeta being cocky and underestimating opponets and being quick to show off his God power like he do in plenty of Dragon ball videos vs Shadow who barely use power ups in fights ( only if necessary ) and is quick to get the job done.
and Vegeta didn't even know what he was dealing with because shadow doesn't use Ki in Vegeta's mind he's like how? "His Ki isn't growing". But what he didn't know was shadow was using Chaos Energy and in his super form it's basically unlimited so shadow could do this all day.
Shadow plus a single Chaos Emerald can reality-warp a Universe with endless possibilities/outcomes. That's already Low Multiversal and above Infinite-Universal or Universal+ which SSB Vegeta is vastly below thanks to MUI Goku and Jiren. The feat in question is quite obvious, a single Chaos Emerald stacked up toward Time Eater to injure the creature when Time Eater revived Sonic 06 plus it's Past and Future [Being Solaris] and proceeded to devour it plus Solaris in question which is what Shadow scales towards. SSB Vegeta is only Multi-Universal which means you can stack as many multiplier and scaling as you want- the limited number cannot surpass 4D Time which requires Infinite Universes to break. It took 50% Jiren to reach the power of just 1 Space-Time from scaling towards Infinite Zamasu while Vegeta was beneath that energy- only UI Goku matched that while Zeno casually obliterates 12 Space-Time which is insignificantly smaller than Countless/Endless Space-Time Continuum from each and every Sonic game. Shadow's own game has 326 different endings with their own timeline while Sonic CD states Many-Worlds Theory which is the idea that any possibility branches off into its own timeline. DBZ used to have this until it got retcon by the Time Rings only controlling the single flow of history, and the Kai of Time whose job is to keep Time singular. A single branch into a different timeline overloads the Time Vault which is why GT plus DBS timelines were kept outside the Time Vault in a void to outside the Time Vault while Sonic's Reality/Single Universe had to be a 5D Structure to contain Infinite Timelines branching off from different actions/possibilities and this is just 1 Universe. We are ignore Blaze, Silvers and the new Classic Dimensions where Sonic Mania takes place with the Phantom Ruby overpowering everything I just listed. DBS is just child's play for the Sonic-Verse that is even higher than the feats I've listed since scaling is heavily used in the Sonic-Verse from MaginaryWorld Lumina and Void being Abstract Beings who sit as Archetypes/Baseline Outerversal due to the Modern Era dealing with Platonic Concepts as characters such as Tikal/Chaos, or Dark Gaia representing the purest form of Destruction. Even Final Hazard was able to threaten Everything/The Cosmology of Sonic meaning Final Hazard/Perfect Chaos can nuke Jungarian Concepts to be Baseline Outerversal which Solaris scales with or without thanks to his feat of affecting The Concepts of Space and Time to nuke everything in his 1st Form which was Solaris not even trying.
This animation was outstanding! One of my favorite parts was when I Am All Of Me had started playing. The pause on the music when Shadow had teleported had created enough tension to the Chaos Blast, putting emphasis when the music started playing again. The Ultimate Lifeform and the Prince of all Saiyans. A short,brutal fight seems just how it'd go for them. Gotta give Vegeta props,he tried his best even with the power gap between himself and Super Shadow. Impressive amounts of willpower from him until the end.
Super Shadow burns out too fast, thats that. Anything above super saiyan 2 would demolish super shadow. I dont know what juice ya'll are on but its insane.

At least Vegeta can take pride in the fact that Shadow powered up while Super against his Super Saiyan Blue Evolution while Super Sonic went "Watch this" against Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku.
@The Debater Let's look on the bright side. In another animation, Goku could put up a fight against Hyper Classic Sonic and in the fight you mentioned, he managed to combine Kaioken and Ultra Instinct without his time limit immediately going "Haha, 0" on him.

I honestly like this way better than death battle’s shadow fights. They nerfed him hard in his first 2 battles with Vegeta and Mewtwo. First, he ran out of ring energy in his super form just as he was about to use chaos blast. Then, he randomly gets amnesia when he was about to finish off Mewtwo. He finally won a fight against Ryuko Matoi by removing his inhibitor rings and incinerated her with chaos blast. Poor Shadow doesn’t deserve that type of abuse.
Well, about DB's Shadow vs Vegeta, while the research and animation were indeed piss-poor, one must remember that it was just the first season (the 12th episode, no less), only two people were doing the research and animation, compared to nowadays, where there's an entire team of researchers, many experienced animators, and (some of) the animations blow this episode's out of the water. (Not to mention, I liked the TFS humor of this battle and Shadow had his fair share of awesome moments, like the moon drop scene.) As for Shadow vs Mewtwo... yeah, this one REALLY sucks. They did Shadow ABSOLUTELY dirty, in terms of research, his character in the battle (being a colossal dick in the same vein as Vegeta. Also, THIS STUPID VOICE.), his curbstomping (Shadow only had ONE hit on Mewtwo) and his humiliating (albeit hilarious) death via the spoon. Hell, they didn't even try with the animation (hardly 2 minutes, WTH?!). This episode HAD to be just an excuse to humiliate Shadow.
For those unfamiliar with the power scaling, y'all really missed the fact that this animation is absolutely spectacular. Secondly, Death Battle's Statistics are seriously misinformed in so many ways, especially with a lot of the feats they have missed. Understanding that the Chaos Emeralds were created by the gods in the Mobian Universe of Sonic and Friends and the fact that Shadow is a Black Arms Hedgehog Hybrid, should give you a fraction of an idea of what he could do. Shadow and sonic in their own base forms far exceed most characters in the DB universe. This also includes Goku, Vegeta, Hit, Jiren, Beerus etc. Now, I won't say the Angels in DBS because we have yet to see the full extent of their abilities. Another thing, that red boosted form for Shadow on top of his super form? That was a chaos boost, not Dark Super Shadow. Taking references from the game where he uses Chaos Control and Chaos Blast in the way he did, he can use the Chaos form to stack with his Super form. He can also Use Chaos control in a full-body type of way like when he took Vegeta to space and then teleport him. Sonic and Shadow's Statistics game-wise alone are already Low-Complex Multiversal once they turn Super Sonic and Super Shadow and not to stack on the hax abilities that they have that I'm pretty sure not even an Evolution blue Vegeta could overcome. Time-Skip is nothing like what Chaos Control can do. Freezing or slowing time or completely manipulating it is different from just jumping a few seconds into the future. The only way one could even bypass that would be the sense of Whis. Hedgehogs are extremely powerful, and the power of Chaos is even more busted. Shadow is just stupid powerful considering he's a Black Arms race which makes him ridiculously powerful, so much that he needs limiters, and then he's based on a male mobian hedgehog, aka Sonic. He matches him in speed, strength, stamina, and much more. He's no joke and he doesn't play around when it comes to the fight. Vegeta gets cocky, underestimates his opponent as well, and will prolong the fight which would give most enough time to literally come back and body him. SSBE is strong, but just the Super Form alone is ridiculous. Vegeta only reached Universal+ level feats, but Shadow has defeated low complex multiversal beings with the help of Sonic and Silver. That alone is enough to tell you how ridiculous they are. So, just saying, Shadow just wins here. Aside from that, this was an amazing animation and display of DedGrafic's skill. Keep it up buddy!
For people who think Vegeta should’ve won this one, Shadow defeated Solaris which is a being equivalent to Whis. His nickname is his nickname for a reason, people.
This is... the first time I have seen Shadow defeat Vegeta. Hell, it wasn't a defeat. Shadow outright bodied Vegeta without the use of Hyper (Unless that's meant to be Archie). Since most animations have Vegeta defeat Shadow.

Super Sonic easily defeated Goku Blue Kaioken while this Super Shadow lost to Vegeta Blue Evolution and had to use the Chaos Boost (this red form he uses at the end is not the Chaos Shadow because the inhibitor rings are still on his arms and legs) to beat him. Super Shadow should beat Vegeta Blue Evolution more easily even though Super Sonic beat Goku Blue Kaioken, since Vegeta is weaker than Goku and Shadow is stronger than Sonic.
Kind of accurate. Dont think Base Game Shadow could stand up to DBS Base Vegeta, but Super Shadow destroying Vegeta is 100% accurate. Love the TFS Vegeta voice.
Shadow won because he was invincible, so he wouldn't take damage in super,while vegta is losing stamina like crazy, Super forms in sonic=less strength but more speed and become invincible,Grant's flight as well,can't last for a long time tho forms in db=more strength and speed,stamina drain.
@@demarkus4566 Also because: 1) The Super forms simply have more power & speed than any of the SS forms. 2) Super forms last a very long time. Them running off rings is nothing more than a game mechanic. This is portrayed in any and every media they've ever appeared in + not being mentioned outside of gameplay.
The only things that COULD harm anyone within a Super State are other Chaos users (Hyper Knuckles and Enerjak to name a few), reality manipulators (the Phantom Ruby and (by extension) Infinite), 4th-dimension beings (Solaris) and Non-Chaos energies (Dark Gaia's energy and (possibly) the Wisp's Hyper-Go-On energy). At least the ones I know of.

VEGETA : Power : High universal Speed : Immeasurable Durability : High universal Attack power : High universal Lifting Strength : No one gives a shit about lifting strength Stamina: Very high + Shadow would win due to being too fast and too durable for vegeta to handle he only has lifting strength over shadow which won’t do much anyway. Plus the energy used to sustain vegeta Blue form will run out giving shadow the win

This animation was outstanding! One of my favorite parts was when I Am All Of Me had started playing. The pause on the music when Shadow had teleported had created enough tension to the Chaos Blast, putting emphasis when the music started playing again.

I honestly like this way better than death battle’s shadow fights. They nerfed him hard in his first 2 battles with Vegeta and Mewtwo. First, he ran out of ring energy in his super form just as he was about to use chaos blast. Then, he randomly gets amnesia when he was about to finish off Mewtwo. He finally won a fight against Ryuko Matoi by removing his inhibitor rings and incinerated her with chaos blast. Poor Shadow doesn’t deserve that type of abuse.

Well, about DB's Shadow vs Vegeta, while the research and animation were indeed piss-poor, one must remember that it was just the first season (the 12th episode, no less), only two people were doing the research and animation, compared to nowadays, where there's an entire team of researchers, many experienced animators, and (some of) the animations blow this episode's out of the water. (Not to mention, I liked the TFS humor of this battle and Shadow had his fair share of awesome moments, like the moon drop scene.)
As for Shadow vs Mewtwo... yeah, this one REALLY sucks. They did Shadow ABSOLUTELY dirty, in terms of research, his character in the battle (being a colossal dick in the same vein as Vegeta. Also, THIS STUPID VOICE.), his curbstomping (Shadow only had ONE hit on Mewtwo) and his humiliating (albeit hilarious) death via the spoon. Hell, they didn't even try with the animation (hardly 2 minutes, WTH?!). This episode HAD to be just an excuse to humiliate Shadow.

For those unfamiliar with the power scaling, y'all really missed the fact that this animation is absolutely spectacular. Secondly, Death Battle's Statistics are seriously misinformed in so many ways, especially with a lot of the feats they have missed. Understanding that the Chaos Emeralds were created by the gods in the Mobian Universe of Sonic and Friends and the fact that Shadow is a Black Arms Hedgehog Hybrid, should give you a fraction of an idea of what he could do. Shadow and sonic in their own base forms far exceed most characters in the DB universe. This also includes Goku, Vegeta, Hit, Jiren, Beerus etc. Now, I won't say the Angels in DBS because we have yet to see the full extent of their abilities. Another thing, that red boosted form for Shadow on top of his super form? That was a chaos boost, not Dark Super Shadow. Taking references from the game where he uses Chaos Control and Chaos Blast in the way he did, he can use the Chaos form to stack with his Super form. He can also Use Chaos control in a full-body type of way like when he took Vegeta to space and then teleport him. Sonic and Shadow's Statistics game-wise alone are already Low-Complex Multiversal once they turn Super Sonic and Super Shadow and not to stack on the hax abilities that they have that I'm pretty sure not even an Evolution blue Vegeta could overcome. Time-Skip is nothing like what Chaos Control can do. Freezing or slowing time or completely manipulating it is different from just jumping a few seconds into the future. The only way one could even bypass that would be the sense of Whis. Hedgehogs are extremely powerful, and the power of Chaos is even more busted. Shadow is just stupid powerful considering he's a Black Arms race which makes him ridiculously powerful, so much that he needs limiters, and then he's based on a male mobian hedgehog, aka Sonic. He matches him in speed, strength, stamina, and much more. He's no joke and he doesn't play around when it comes to the fight. Vegeta gets cocky, underestimates his opponent as well, and will prolong the fight which would give most enough time to literally come back and body him. SSBE is strong, but just the Super Form alone is ridiculous. Vegeta only reached Universal+ level feats, but Shadow has defeated low complex multiversal beings with the help of Sonic and Silver. That alone is enough to tell you how ridiculous they are. So, just saying, Shadow just wins here. Aside from that, this was an amazing animation and display of DedGrafic's skill. Keep it up buddy!

Super Sonic easily defeated Goku Blue Kaioken while this Super Shadow lost to Vegeta Blue Evolution and had to use the Chaos Boost (this red form he uses at the end is not the Chaos Shadow because the inhibitor rings are still on his arms and legs) to beat him. Super Shadow should beat Vegeta Blue Evolution more easily even though Super Sonic beat Goku Blue Kaioken, since Vegeta is weaker than Goku and Shadow is stronger than Sonic.

2) Super forms last a very long time. Them running off rings is nothing more than a game mechanic. This is portrayed in any and every media they've ever appeared in + not being mentioned outside of gameplay.
The only things that COULD harm anyone within a Super State are other Chaos users (Hyper Knuckles and Enerjak to name a few), reality manipulators (the Phantom Ruby and (by extension) Infinite), 4th-dimension beings (Solaris) and Non-Chaos energies (Dark Gaia's energy and (possibly) the Wisp's Hyper-Go-On energy). At least the ones I know of.

@@NossoMonstro a questão nem é acharem os personagens de db lentos, os personagens de Sonic (alguns) são rápidos pra caralho, o próprio super sonic é mais rápido que o instinto superior completo e o jiren e até mesmo o whis (acho que é esse o nome daquele anjo baitola), o mesmo vai pro shadow, na verdade até em forma base eles são mais rápidos (mas não mais que o whis), nos games e na archie comics isso é mostrado muito bem.

SHADOW [Game]
Power : Multiversal/ 4D
Speed : Immeasurable
Durability : Multiversal
Attack power : Multiversal
Lifting strength : No one gives a shit about lifting strength
Stamina : Limitless
Hax : time manipulation, teleportation, immunity to existence erasure, dimensional travel.
VEGETA :
Power : High universal
Speed : Immeasurable
Durability : High universal
Attack power : High universal
Lifting Strength : No one gives a shit about lifting strength
Stamina: Very high +
Shadow would win due to being too fast and too durable for vegeta to handle he only has lifting strength over shadow which won’t do much anyway. Plus the energy used to sustain vegeta Blue form will run out giving shadow the win

as far as i know super shadow is low multiversal while vegeta is only universal+
samir ice think about it in TOP Goku while using UI shook the world of void which is infinite in size which is infinitely bigger than the dragon ball multiverse which would make you Infinitely multiversal but since he only shook it that makes it a multiversal feat and vegeta at his strongest is stronger than Omen UI Goku at first.
For shadow he beat Solaris who from just being born collapsed the entire sonic multiverse itself and shadow beat him . Plus this was a much earlier game and as shown in generations sonic was able to beat Perfect Chaos which took a super sonic in a much earlier game to beat so he would have got thousands of times stronger which shadow can scale to . With those feats super shadow is scaled from universal+ to low multiversal
