But still a pure pony girl, that happy to get her hands dirty! That’s my kind of person. Also! I know a friend of yours! She has a new forest pony called Tilly and she is your cousins girlfriend. Interesting you feed hay after the grain, we give hay first about 30 mins before giving grain to line their stomachs then they finish the hay off after.
All of the horses on our yard are on very good quality feed and have a low starch diet hard feeds. They also aren’t fed just pure grain and all have something highly fibre-based in it as well. We also feed ab-lib hayledge so they nearly always have some hay left in the morning so aren’t eating hard feed on empty stomach’s😊
