They’re the most amazingly complex couple with the most insane amount of chemistry I’ve ever seen. But individually, Beth frustrates the hell out of me! She still can’t accept that she’s a criminal so she spent the whole season regressing back to the happy housewife even taking Dean back because she can’t face her feelings for Rio or that she lives in his world now. If she admits the truth about one then she has to admit the other which she isn’t ready to do about either especially when his world has very simple but serious rules because your life is in danger if you break them. Yet, I don’t think Beth ever really feared him until this season. Even in the very beginning when his lieutenant had the gun at her head after they tried to give him those dolls. She found it turned her on and the more she saw him, the more attracted she was to him. Rio pointed a gun at her but she knew he wouldn’t pull the trigger... until she after she did. So she went from not being afraid of him to being absolutely petrified. And for his part, Rio has always done the dirty work for her. He protected her as much as he could and came when she called, he was willing to fix her problems, and it was his way of showing that he cared but it literally backfired. So when he returned he decided to stopped the special treatment. So Beth better admit the facts. She crossed the line and can’t cross back but she wouldn’t even if she could she wants it as badly as she wants Rio.
@@lise4689 thank god because i was so angry when beth shot rio. She completely lost all the trust that rio had. I feel like beth is slowly starting to regain rios trust back so fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Lu Na Beth is deceiving herself and Rio sees her true self. The shooting showed Rio that he had a weakness and it’s how he feels about Beth. So he tried to protect himself from her all season and she spent the whole time in denial about how she is a criminal. She retreated into her persona as a happy housewife. That includes all of her feelings for Rio. So she pretended she hasn’t crossed the line and there’s no going back.
I don't know if this was intended but when she said "my husband took my children" and it was flicking between the different bar scenes, it was when she told him she lost his child, great edit 😭
