No offence but in my opinion Sambalpuri ikkat saree are more beautiful than Patola weaving.
I think sambalpuri ikkat is influenced by other state ikkat/patola design. . Traditional sambapuri never had ikkat pattern before... So these sarees are the original ikkat.. and each ti his own.. you are odiya so u like sambalpuri,whereas gujrati know the value of patola and same goes for south people for kanchipuram.. all are good in their areas.
No offence, sambalpuri ikkat sarees gives a cheap look unlike Patan patolas
