Under the Sea Edible Coral Macarons Step by Step

- Buttercream, tuile cookies, sugar bubble tuiles and fried rice paper combine in a veritable "coral chorale" on these sweet macs! Tuile batter recipe below:
Small batch:
36g melted butter
52g AP flour
46g confectioner’s sugar
1 T corn starch
1 egg white
edible color (optional)
Blend all dry ingredients, and then mix in butter, then egg white; add color if desired.
This recipe can be piped or smoothed over a stencil or mold!

Please , did you use butter cream for corals?
Hello! Here is what I used for each coral: The stenciled coral was made with tuile cookie batter (recipe is in my caption), I made some coral using small pieces of fried rice paper, and I made some using baked corn syrup (sugar tuiles)...then I attached them all using piped buttercream (that was also meant to resemble some coral types) :)
