- The secret SETTING TO GET BETTER AIM! - Full Guide On Monitor Coefficient!
there is not one video out there explaining how monitor coefficient works and in todays video I am hoping to debunk how it actually works and give you a clear understanding on what each monitor coefficient does.

Finally understand monitor coefficient, changed it to 0 and my aim is way more consistent now. Thank you.
How ?
GOATED video!! I switched to 0 coefficient about a month ago and came to all of the same conclusions. Appreciate the time and energy you put into this one newt, quality content bro!
Much love and yes i think this video will help out a lot of people
Where do i change that setting? Im not soo good at this lol.
@@ThomasMikkelborgTviruzin the setting
I came back to this video bro and tired 1, and 0 and 1.78
I was occking that one good one 1.21 but I gotta say when I went from 1.21 to 0 I went demon mode flicks became accurate af, and tracking to head is like aimbot... you should switch back from 1.21 to 0
I still don’t get it lol
I think your coefficient values are off. It should be 4:3 = 1.33; 16:9 (1920x1080) = 1.777778
Your video shows 100% on a 16:9 game image being the edge of the image which is incorrect? Should be 177% on the edge
But the value has to be rounded because it only can be 3 diges
Yoo thanks for helping us out! Can't wait for your Battlefield tips soon!
There’s definitely some good info in here and I know that you mean well but you have some misinformation in here. For a 16:9 aspect ration, (2560x1440p which I believe you are using) 1.78 is 100% monitor match, meaning that 1.78 stretches to the end of your screen horizontally (Left/Right). 1.33 is 75% which almost matches viewspeed, 1.00 is 56.25% or 100% vertical match, meaning the top of your screen. But not horizontally. Regardless, those are all arbitrary values but at the end of the day they all come down to preference like a lot of other things. 0% renders 180° flicks impossible on many sensitivities which leads to people preferring a higher coefficient for that higher sens zoom value. But 1.78 is 100% match horizontally, and not off screen as you depicted in the video. 0% is regarded as the best for tracking because ideally you want to aim down sight already on target, which then allows you continue tracking on target since it matches at your reticle.
You are right 1.78 monitor coefficient =100% at 16:9 ratio but the logic still holds up because it calculates towards the edge of your screen still where as 0 calculates from your crosshair
@@TheDryerNewt I understand that and I agree, just wanted to give you the accurate info so you look like you’ve done your homework! Keep up the good work. Love that you’re the only channel bold enough to go in depth with analysis on aim. I’ve had a lot of really good info I just kinda keep secret. Don’t want everyone to have perfect aim like me, SBMM is enough already
@@Whosthetank much love man and thank you and you are right but at the end of the day it still takes time and mechanical skill to learn even though I give out the tips and tricks not everyone is going to use it
@@TheDryerNewt I personally believe that time is truly the only investment needed (assuming the person doesn’t have a disability). I’ve convinced 3 of my buddies to switch from controller to KBAM over the past 2 years and I’ve gotten each one of them to top tier aim level despite having never using a mouse prior except at school. Proper settings and dedicating time to structured practice is all it really takes. Keep up the grind man. Looks like vanguard will be a bust but hopefully you can get some solid 2042 content!
He says in the video "the slides are not 1:1 replica of 1920 or 1440p this is just to get the point"
I use 0 coefficient but increased vertical sensitivity by 30%. Feels nice.
My tracking on 0 is so damn mean. Props to showing light on this overlooked setting
Thanks for the Vid! Also your handcam matches up well with your vid
That’s great help no aim shacks now thank you I switched to 0 I feel great
Single best explanation on the internet. Thanks
Clutch video. Appreciate the input!
So for 1440p 27 inch forumal should be 4:3 = 1.33; 16:9 (1920x1080) = 1.777778; 21:9 (2560x1080) = 2.33
So happy i found this channel! I am really enjoying your vids man!
Do you mind maybe helping me with a mw guns only loadout for verdansk and mw multiplayer?
Ive been playing on 0 for about a week now and it feels good but I feel like I adjust w any sense but my skill level still has that plateau.
16.9 Aspect ratio = 1.78 Relative Co-efficiency.
Good Video
Keep going bro!
What's the best monitor distance coefficient for console? 80fov, playing mouse and keyboard on Xbox one x.
You figure out any dank settings yet? also on console...
I absolutely hate 0%. fks my aim up hard in apex.
how to change the monitor coefficient in apex?
How do you think this effects playing on a 3440x1440 Ultrawide monitor?
Thankyou for this video
And is anybody else having issues with ping after the update or is it just me
This Help me a lot, I always on 1.33 sometimes try 1.78 but I was like wtf I dont know, but I try 0 and felt de dif , I recomend try 0 then if you feel a bit off try 1.78
Do you recommend instant, gradual, or after zoom ads transition?
I have been on gradual but tbh i dont see a difference between gradual and instant
.
.
.
That only matters when you lower your ADS. Gradual is fluent, instant is instant from 1.00 to what u set your ads.
I dont get it buddy, you preach about coefficiency set at 0 , but in your description your using 178.
man!thanks!legit!
Hello, big salute. Can u tell me please what monitor u are using? Thx
How do you change monitor coinficiency?
So are you moving to 0 with a sens of 6 as your current settings show 4 sens and 1.78 ?
wrong picture! 1.78 coefficient (actuallu 1.7777778) is edge of your monitor that means when you are in the game actual 100 coefficient in the picture is 1.78 not 1.00!
Great informative video! Could you explain how legacy doesn’t work properly? So it doesn’t give a 1:1 sensitivity? I’ve seen your last video about monitor coefficient on MW and I thought legacy gave a 1:1 sense for both hip and ads sensitivity. I recently switched to legacy and it feels pretty good but don’t want to get used to it if it’ll come with a lot of inconsistencies
I will be coming out with a video next week on legacy 😁
Why is there a separate “ads sens” setting then? What’s the difference? I’m confused
so it's 100 after 20 years of searching :), tested in BF 2042, it's not 133, 177, 0, is 100 (after all is obvious. Where my mind was?). Thx
So it’s better to increase your sens and use 0? So for sniping can I set a custom sens for high zoom scopes to 1.33 since I’m used to the CS awp. I’m a pretty low sens player currently like you were.
You can do what ever you want tbh i did a new video about the jedi coefficient trick which is a coefficient of 1.21
Does this also apply to cold war?
Off topic but what’s your Mac 10 class?
I use Laptop Monitor, is 1.33 or 1,78 good for me?
I had always used legacy, which one do you think works the best from that? I tried 1.33 but had a feeling of inconsistency and weird mouse control, really i don't know which one mc pick for feeling that natural
0 for sure you might have to raise your sensitivity but in the long run it will help out a lot more
Thank you a lot man, love u'r contet and love u as a content creator ♥️
In older cod games legacy was basically just like having monitor coefficient at 0, but it’s broken in mw and wz and it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do
@@governorjonah7315 yeah i remember having great times with cod 4 and mw 2009.
Since ive started playing warzone it was always weird. Ive lost so many fights, now i know its because of inconsistencies on this system. Trying 0 coef definitely
@@governorjonah7315Legacy it's zero coefficient, but only on FOV 80.
Great info thx for the research!
what if I play a lot of kovaaks and want to transfer my sens to COD? What's the kovaaks default monitor distance coefficient?
1.0 was so bad for me i thought 1.33 was a bad setting and it should had been 1.0 and was wondering why my snaps and flicks were not as accurate went back on 1.33 now it crisp might try 1.78 just for the fun of sniping i bet sniping is faster on 1.78
where you get your desk feel like my desk is small lol
What should I put it with I’m on console
I'm using 1600dpi 3.00 on 0 monitor distance is that good
That should be fine
I always thought zero coefficient was the same as legacy?
The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't.
In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was.
The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.
ive been using 0 monitor coefficient and its the best one for muscle memory.. but i can see how 1.00 monitor coefficient could work too just because its only ''matched to the edge it looked like''
can you do some testing on 1.00 and show some gameplay with it
This is the only correct and informative video on this topic. Thank you
Sens in game is 4??
hey thank you for this video and you put a gtx 2060 for your streaming pc you meant a rtx 2060 but keep it gtx bc its funny
My zoom is not 1 for 1 with my hip fire when it’s on zero?
Assuming you're on Iron Sights, it won't be the same. He tried an analogy on this video to simplify it but the topic misses a few key ingredients on the "science" part of it. If you want to play relative with 0 coefficient, try setting your ADS multiplier to 1.20. It may not be the exact same but very very close on Iron sights
i play 1 year on keyboard ! Whould you say 1.78 is better than 0 or 1.33 on 2560x1440 ? ;)
I alsoo use a 2k monitor from TUF. I got a rtx 2060 whit ryzen 5 4600g , anny tips for best quality and best aim/reecoil settings? Cuz i like my settings but got to muth reecoil. And my screen feel bigger than it shold🤔 like where all teamates names ect down left coner is showing, on my screen its more inn thorsow to the screen not like you have it, i see yall having it all the way the the left corner but mines is more out soo its more spase around it. Whats is doing that?🤔🥴🙄
My aim is pretty good but yes some time my flick go over the target and i have to adjust so you think 0 is the best option? I’m using 1.78 now
Yes in the long run it will help!
@@TheDryerNewt legacy or relative bro ?
I have no idea anymore
.
what about 5 coefficient on 1.74 ads ?
this was trolling, i was just trying to match my cm 360 sens between hipfire and ads but you really don’t need to do that. it’s better to use a higher sens for quicker movement and large flicks and a lower sens for precision when it’s needed.
😎
How do you get 1:1 ads on 0 coefficient
He doesn't. On Iron Sights, you can set your ADS multiplier to 1.20 and it will be close if not the same.
Just play on legacy
I want my flicks to be more consistent but i find the ADS speed to slow with it set to 0. Would it defeat the purpose of it if i just raised ADS sensitivity?
no it wouldnt but I would suggest raising your sensitivity (hipfire) to somthing a bit faster for me I went up 1.5 sensitivity from 4.5 at 1.78 to 6 at 0
@@TheDryerNewt yeah I tried that and the ADS was still to slow. Ended up raising ADS sense to 1.2 and that helped heaps.

en pub g como se aplica esto'?
Yo great video, just wondering how would I apply this to apex legends which I don't believe has a monitor distance coefficient option?
apex is 0% monitor coefficient when u have 1.00 ads
any advice on how to aim train for this?

I learned that u lagging so hard in game.

Brilliant content. Need to know, Affected or independent setting for someone who mainly snipes and runs a sniper support? Cheers
I honestly run affected, yeah you’re a little more zoomed out on your scope but if you’re running an SMG makes it a lot easier to fight close corners cause you’re not so zoomed in…. But also depends on what FOV you run cause it can make it harder to see people when you zoom in.
@@Trill412 cheers brother
Interesting.. Ive been using legacy because I liked the 1:1 ads, but I think I will try out 0 mdc for a bit. Thanks
Legacy in mw and warzone doesn't work right just a heads up
@@TheDryerNewt meaning?

You could focus on vertical sensitivity rather than overall az well. I tried 1.0. Felt better than 1.78, then I tried 0 and 0.5 but it feels different.. Will keep testing.
0 monitor coefficient is not 1:1 aim tho....
