Btw in the movie her dialogue is “no, no, please don’t electrocute my dad, he’ll cry”
Everyone has a choice brother. The first time you're exploited is obviously that you've been wronged. But if you're quiet about it, and you enable it for 6 fucking months and get gangbanged, then that's on you. I'd love to see the gangbang though. I'm sure she wasn't crying at that point, and embraced it as her situation.
She can ask for justice for the man who raped her, sure. The rest is just all on her, bro. itna awareness and educated hone ke baad bhi chutiya ladkiya hongi toh baki log kya karenge?
And what is her situation now? Is she in relationship? Will she tell the guy who's gonna marry her that she willing got gangbanged and kept mum about the situation for 6 months or however long? It's easy to blame society, but society cant do anything if you dont want to help yourself.
hats off to you brother for raising voice thank you
for becoming voice of unheard ppl around the world
Done 😌
When she said "that Miss Nepal"..and called her a bitch...I felt it. The suppressed anger, the betrayal, the reality behind the glamour and fake sympathy for the cameras definitely broke her. It's in her voice. The trauma. Kudos to Sushmita for actually becoming the voice of abused girls.

Hmm
@THE ZOLDICS absolutely
Most beauty pageants, modelling agencies and similar industries that use good looks as currency operate on the oppression of women. Yes, sometimes men also become targets but the industry is a super misogynistic place where newbies usually have to go through a lot and not even a handful people talk about it. Thank you for making a video on it man 💕
It's so common & basic practice, everyone knows.
Ashwaria, Priyanka, John Abraham everyone does that.
I bet she knew that too but making some controversy regardless.

Sushmita was not at the fault, she was just a naive, she was scared and too traumatized to tell this thing to anyone. Her abuser desperately wanted to fulfill his lust on the name of ’helping’ her for the money. I'm glad her bf supported her.

Her parents are responsible for raising him to be in makeup and beauty industry.
She was 16 and underage...where were her parents???...idk how it is in Nepal, but in India underage models and actors who are working in the film ,tv, and modelling industries are mostly accompanied by their parents or atleast a gaurdian when they attend shoots, events etc.
Even I was thinking the same!!

She is really Brave just by listening her story I felt numb and getting goosebumps. She was a young girl at that time but no matter what is your age when your dreams, self esteem is damaged and most importantly those people you have thought as a inspiration betray you then no one will be able to get out from this trauma that much easily. It's a said reality that the victims are blamed like they are the criminals.
There should be a grooming law in India too. There are predatore everywhere. Often they groom teenagers so that they can exploit them thinking teenagers are naive. I don't know why but any sorts of beauty show should not be allowed. It's clearly objectify just on the basis of looks and appearances.
Trust me being a girl I'm saying this... It's everywhere not in just beauty industry....I was 14 and I was doing graduation in dance...I used to get molested and harrassed by some of my dance teacher...In our school girls used to get molested by our English teacher... My friend who is an author faced problems in writing industry as a new comer....My dii who was a national level player was molested by her own coach.... But on the other hand my friend who is in modelling industry didn't face these kind of problems when she entered in this industry as a newcomer...She was 14 when she became model people around her were very sweet and welcoming...And it's not just about looks cause I have seen + size models,Short models and dark models as well...And they talk about self love and body positivity... But we can't deny the fact that harrasment doesn't exist in any kind of industry...My male friend was raped by some gays and group of boys at the age of 15... He was a model and becoming famous day by day... so due to jelousy some make up artist and boys raped him.... But sadly he couldn't get proper justice cause he is a male and according to people of india male don't get raped...Some people even made fun of him....So see it's everywhere....We can't Stop this...So instead of banning fashion industry we should have proper security and laws for this...

@@Yomamaa342 I think the law is strict and baised against men. The problem is I think sometimes it gets difficult to prove and there are also fake cases filed againt men which harms the real victim more .
Rape cases are also high in developed countries and doesnt get reported. So it is a human problem.
The real question is how can we identify the guilty faster?
More important will be to correct and elevate the human nature .
Entertainment industry normalises objectification and more. Entertainment industry can be used positively.
Prevention is better than cure.
Susmita is such a brave woman , she stood up for herself even when she went through so much and her supportive boyfriend...

I don't think that You'd have be in a certain shape and look for a beauty pageant. Ik there are alot of things that happen in local Beauty Pageants, but Pageants like MW and MU don't stand for such things, MUO recently banned the owner of Miss USA's owner bc her husband once inappropriately touched contestant. The thing is that National pageants doesn't really pay that proper attention that needs to be followed. I feel extremely sad for Sushmita that she had to go through such Things. 😔
True mw doesn't even have a bikini round so that women aren't uncomfortable & you know what it was because Aishwarya rai suggested miss world for it to be removed and they did remove it from 1995 & it still stands till today. Just meaning to say that Those days we used to have real beauty queens who indeed stood for something and brought a change.

Hi, Shrinkhal. Sorry if this is offensive in any manner but I've been seeing the same grammatical error repeated over many of your other videos as well and I wanted to make you aware of it. So basically, the word 'actresses' is used when we talk about multiple females who take acting as a profession whereas the word 'actress' is used for a single female involved in the acting industry. I have noticed you using actresses for a single female in quiet a lot of videos. That's it.
Hope you have an awesome day, bye. 🖤🖤

This is why when you get into any industry, you need know the dark side of it, be very smart and a step ahead of who you’re working with. Most of the industries dark side always targets women

After Sushmita publicly spoke about her story, it had become the talk of the nation and it helped many other victims of SA to come out and share their stories. this is barely half the things that happened to sushmita. i really hope she gets justice. i can’t fathom how she must have felt to through all that. she is an incredibly strong woman. also malvika isn’t apologizing because she was sorry, she is apologizing only because the internet found out she’s not a real “feminist” and is a self centered person who just likes to put up an image. i really don’t like her.
The oppression of poor young women in the beauty industry is absolutely sickening! The fact that Sushmita asked for help from such a high profile female public figure in Nepal, Malvika Subba (who boast about "female empowerment" and "helping out the poor") refused to help her is revolting! Malvika is the prime example of a financially well off person who talks the talk in front of the public eye but never carries out any action. She posted many posts worths pages in her facebook where she gave excuses for why she did not help Sushmita Regmi. There are no explanations or excuses for not helping out a rape victim. Another former Miss Nepal with beauty but no moral stand and heart. Malvika needs to be boycotted!!!! Upon research, there were more financially well off so called nepali "influencers" who were in support of Malvika for not helping Sushmita out! Everyone rich or poor needs to understand a victim will always remain a victim.
If sushmita was from a wealthy family, Malvika would have definitely helped Sushmita out and brought her to justice.
Do not worry Sushmita Regmi! We are with you! We love you for who you are and what you spoke about! Thank you for gathering the courage to speak out against the injustice you suffered!!!!!
