Surfing the Slater Designs FRK+ on Lake Erie | 11/11/2024

11/11/2024 It's very rare that I take my slater designs frk+ out on the lake unless the conditions are ideal. Most of the short boards I surf on the lake are a bit longer, thicker, and have a medium to flat rocker. For anyone that's watched my videos I surf on the lake, you can tell the majority of the waves I surf are not steep, very blown out most of the time, and short intervals. With this swell, I caught the tail end of it before the wind turned on and started dumping. With it being mid fall I'm in a 4mm wetsuit, boots, and gloves and that adds some weight and usually determines the board I'll use. In this session I wanted to be more comfortable paddling and catching waves on a board with significantly more rocker and less volume than I'm used to. I've surfed it on the ocean but I was in chest to head high waves and board shorts. It's all raw audio. My GoPro is set on Superview 4k 60fps 16:9 frame. The first wave I went up past the lip and got a little airborne. I would like to learn airs but I need some guidance and better waves. Enjoy
