I went to a Total Wine and More to buy some moonshine, was my first time (turned 21 a few months ago) and he asked what I usually drink. I've had whiskey, beer, wine, IPA, and rum. By far I found a sweet place for rum (😂). The guy handed me Surgerlands Shine Mark and Digger's Hazelnut Rum. Both me and my dad noted that it smelled like maple syrup, and it had a sweet taste. I recommend it for anyone.

QOTD: Headbanging is considered dancing. ;) Sub white/unaged whisk(e)y instead of vodka ANYWHERE ANYTIME much nicer and not as herbal as Gin!

I hate that UA-cam unsubscribed me for some reason. I recently resubscribed but I still missed out on a couple months of content.

yeah, I have no idea why that happens but other youtube creators have complained about that over the years and nobody has figured it out.

I don't know...I don't control the UA-cam infrastructure--all I can do is hit the "live" button and start going. I just hope it tells people the stream is going. our next will be the 8th of December (a Saturday night).

      No problem, thanks for watching!!
I have absolutely no concern with people not watching because they're too stuck in the world of politics that they can't get out of the mud. They're lost to me. In the end, that drink was a blast.
It also taught me a lot, I thought we'd lose more subscribers, but since the video launched we lost a net total of 1. Glad to know people can separate their own opinion from others and know that there is no need to hate on someone just because they don't share the same views as themselves. Obviously not the case with everyone, some people are too blinded by ignorance to realize others can have an opinion too!
Plus, in the end, this cocktail has more validity each month. When I see a bump in views I know a trump said something dumb again! But, you gotta hand it to him, he knows how to take the uninformed and lower educated folks and rally them to his side. Good on him!
Someday maybe we'll have a popular vote be the deciding factor. Then I can jump back and be a republican again!

Common Man Cocktails if i may, u were the one that decided to put a controversial video up? I never brought up politics? U made fun of our president, and I didn’t care for it!

It’s okay, he calls people names and cyber bullies people on a weekly basis, I don’t care for it. I guess I just learned how to do controversial videos from watching him pull it off. I thought maybe it was just me as a dad thinking what was going on was wrong but then I see his approval rating and realize I am not as insane as I thought I was ! But, if you can sit there watching the president of the US making fun of people on Twitter and giving them cute little names and think it is okay but get offended at my little video... that’s not my problem, it’s a larger issue that goes beyond me.

Thats what makes america good.. we can a have difference of opinion.. my biggest reason for supporting him is because my family is all military/veterans. Which he has done wonders for! 🤷‍♂️

    • @cmcocktails
      @cmcocktails  5 років тому +2

I recently worked for the DoD on military satellite projects for the government. I pay taxes (plenty in the past) and fully support the USA. That does not mean I have to like a man that disrespects what it means to be American. We don't cyberbully, we don't think only of ourselves first and only and I as a parent do my best to raise my children in the understanding that you respect other people even when you don't particularly care for them. We don't ignore the mass shootings because it would be bad for our "investors" and lobbyists (okay, we do that all the time across all party lines, and it should be fixed).
I used to support presidents that aligned more with my own personal needs (as an overpaid software engineer with a few hundred thousand dollars in investments) I tend to lean with Republican agendas because it suits me and the family. But, as I got older I have started to put more effort into what is right for the larger group of individuals that are not just my own interests. I cannot support someone because they do one good thing for me and a bunch of shitty things to other people. I've voted McCain, Bush, Clinton(s) and the last Obama term -- I vote for those that I believe are worthy of representation (knowing most of their agendas will never get done). Not all of them have been perfect (you ever hear Bush try to hold a public conversation? lol) but I feel they're looking out for the country just as much as themselves even if they can't be perfect humans. I understand they also have self interests pulling them (oil, agenda, whatever) and they have to battle that along the way. They're usually rich and successful and usually have a history of governing something or public service.
I understand the democratic process, why that process exists and how having it "slowed down" by voting and majority selection is important. I don't quite understand why the Republications have to always be old white rich lawyers but I am sure that will someday change. I don't quite agree with the electoral process but I understand it's a relic much like Daylight Saving time.
I guess I don't understanding supporting him when you see article headlines like: www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2018/11/15/veterans-arent-getting-their-gi-bill-payments-because-vas-year-old-computer-system-broke/?noredirect=on&.e45793e1be0e
Of course, a true Trump believer will tell me how all news outlets are bad and lying (even when reporting quote-for-quote). I know a few dictators in the past that also tried to change world view by telling everyone that if you didn't support them you're listening to fake agendas ;-) But, I also understand everyones view is different and when someone 'pokes fun' at them I laugh along with them, not unsubscribe because they don't have the same beliefs. Hell, I still visit my dad and he's a gun toting white republican American that believes if you are an immigrant you need to leave (which would also put his dad out of the country if he were still alive). But, my dad is freaking hilarious and as an old white guy, I understand his perspective...I just don't try to convince him it has some holes in it :)
The best thing to come out of this presidency, for me, is the complete awareness of what's going on now (where I used to let a lot of this type of news just go by). I voted in my first mid-term election last month and I've never done that in the last twenty years. I also get to see the checks and balances battle against stupidity, which until now was really just theory to me. I know, in the past, we've had others that have had this type of battle for rationality but it wasn't really in my lifetime. So, it's nice to see the system working to stop dictatorships from rising and people in the wrong position be put in check.
And, in the end, it only lasts 4-8 years before we can start to dig out of the debt and damage. It's not the first time, I'm sure it won't be the last! It's the circle of life :-)
