Thank you for an amazing Flosstube, Chris. Your open heart just gives me chills - it makes my own heart smile. You are so brave to venture out and look what you accomplished! You met a lot of folks you've admired for years, you make new friends. You should be so proud of yourself! I certainly am proud of you!
Wonderful description of stitch con. I’m a stay at home, due to old age, but just live 4 hours to keepsakes. On my bucket list. ( I use to have a country cross stitch shop in the 80’s) Heat wave here this week. looking forward to autumn.
Hey Chris, So glad you are back, missed you! Happy you enjoyed your Stitch🪡🧵 Con & Retreat. 💖 Love your beautiful ornaments you cross stitched. I picked the SEASONS bundle. Thanks Chris!
Thank you so very much for the Stitch Con update! I'm so glad you went and met more neighbours 🥰 Holiday Home Seasons. Hugs from Joanna on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada xo
Oh, Chris…your trepidation turned joy for StitchCon so resonated with me!! Last year was my first StitchCon and retreat in general. I was so excited until we got there. Hubby and I drove up and over from VA and stayed in a nearby campground. I was so excited….until I wasn’t. An introvert walking into a room ALONE with 299 strangers?? That Friday morning I told the hubby, I can just hangout with you here and stitch…I don’t have to actually go into that room. Of course, he put a quick stop to that - “I pulled this camper OVER mountains to be here…you are going!!!” And then, I walked into that room and a lady sitting by herself invited me to sit with her…and then there were six of us…and monthly zooms…and five of us there again and sitting together this year. Until you’ve attended, the feel of that room just can’t be described. And the LOVE for EVERYONE in the room cannot be contained. And the appreciation for everyone’s work, even work that’s not what you would typically do (did you see the black work mandala and pride flag? My friend Bridget did those….i LOVE HER WORK, but I ain’t a black work girl😊). Anyhow…I wasn’t sure which weekend you would be attending, but had hoped to show you my fruits of plenty if I was lucky enough to meet you. And then the coffee catastrophe…I was devastated that morning, but by that evening I had things in a better perspective and I think i will be able to work it out (and will send pictures after she comes out of timeout…I know, I know, it’s not her fault I spilled coffee, but timeout for her is best for us both!😂). Loved meeting you!!!
Oh it was so wonderful meeting you as well, and I am sure you'll end up with a showpiece for sure with that "Fruit." Thank you for saying hello! xoxo Chris
How wonderful to hear about your experience at StitchCon! What a tribute to the organizers who created such an event! It's so brave of you to go somewhere like that on your own... I really appreciate the courage that takes. Going to StitchCon is on my bucket list and maybe one day I will accomplish that dream! How great to meet Stephanie and Pam, and oh I'd love to meet Brenda too... 😍
Your enthusiasm for Stitch Con showed in every word you spoke tonight Chris! And it makes me so happy that you loved it and that is was such an amazing experience. It’s hard to describe, isn’t it?! Thank as for your kind words about my models, and we will meet someday! Hugs! 🤗

If I go again, I’d love to meet you in person, along with all of our Alabama cousins. 🥰🥰🥰 Happy stitching, dear friend. Oh, and your set for this episode is beautiful with you in red and your lovely backdrop in blues. Very patriotic. Love it!
It was a joy to meet you at Stitch Con. Thank you for sharing a few moments during the jam packed weekend. Like you- it was my first ever retreat. Beyond special. Home away from home. ❤

I'm so happy that you pushed past your anxiety about going to StitchCon. I've been twice and I echo the incredible retreat, great charity projects and the whole staff of Keepsakes. I'm so glad you got to experience all the love.
I’m so glad I found your Flosstube. I’m getting ready to go to my first retreat - alone . I’m very nervous. Who will I sit with? Will anyone include me for meals? I haven’t been stitching long , am I worthy ? It’s a scary thing. I admire your bravery . It seems that this is a very welcoming community. I’m so glad you were embraced . Your channel is lovely . Thank you for sharing your journey with us.😊
So glad you went to the retreat and the you returned home safely. Retreats are like a little holiday. Spring was lovely here in the Midwest. Our next season is definitely here, ☀️summer☀️

While I was not in attendance at Stitch con, I am currently on a holiday myself, a stitching cruise in the British isles. Had to take a moment to watch you and see how stitch con went for you. I am ready to be back home in my own stitching chair. Glad you enjoyed it, that convention is a future goal for me. Seasons
It sounds like your time at StitchCon was wonderful; I'm so happy for you! (And I'm very glad your stitchy bug is back so we will have more visits coming!) 🪡👠
So pleased that you had such a wonderful time at Stitchcon. I, too, will be going to my first ever retreat this month, so thank you for sharing your story. Home Season Holiday
I’m so glad you went to Stitch Con and even more so that you enjoyed it so much. I think we all appreciate how real you are with us. As you described our community and how we can all enjoy putting x’s into some fabric…it all sounds kind of ridiculous but it’s not! We have an amazing community and I’m glad you are such a wonderful part of it.
Hi Chris, loved hearing about your adventures at Stitch Con. It was wonderful to hear about the welcoming spirit of the retreat. I bet it was hard to come home and you’ll remember the special friends you made each holiday and throughout the seasons!
So glad to hear you pushed through your anxiety and went to Stitch Con, and then had a marvelous time. I will attend my first ever retreat in September, and understand your trepidation. Thank you for sharing your retreat experience, it has encouraged me. Holiday Home Seasons
Chris, I so enjoyed you stitch con recap. Very happy you decided to attend. Seasons are hard in central California. In summer I stay at home because 105 degrees is no holiday. Looking forward to your next video. Be well ❤
Chris you are one of the best floss tubers out there. You teared up while sharing your Stitch Con experience and I cried. I fell hard for your spirit and gentle ways from day one. Don't ever change....
OMG I loved your stitch con update! Made me teary eyed. I would love to go to a retreat. But none of my friends stitch. So of course the what IF anxiety kicks in. What if I cant find a table, who do I eat with, etc... I'm so glad you fought the anxiety and won!!!
Chris. You have described perfectly how I have felt about retreats. Unfortunately, I did cancel mine. We'll in advance, so someone else could go. My anxiety was too high. But I am ever so glad you had a great time! I would have loved to hug the stuffing out of you. May all your retreats give you as much love.
New viewer here. What a delight you are! I can’t describe how much I enjoyed your episode. And as a person who also deals with anxiety, thank you for sharing your journey. It means a lot. HOME SEASONS
Home. Hello sweet Chris! I met you at Keepsakes and it was such a treat. You really are such a special person. So kind and while you think you just talk, it is so much more than that. You make others feel as though they are a part of something…and that is the neighborhood. ❤
So glad you had a wonderful time at Stitch Con! I attended my first retreat last spring. There were only about 125 attendees, and it was wonderful! It is a little scary to walk into a room with so many people you don't know. Holiday seasons. ❤️🪡
I am so glad you took that leap and went to Stitch Con. I've never been but I hear its all good times. So glad you enjoyed yourself on your first retreat. I really enjoyed listening to your stories and excitement.
So glad you went to Stitch Con. It is indeed an experience you don't want to miss. I went by myself last year and had a great time. The holiday bundle is so cute - love the Santa and I don't have that one in my collection.
Hi Chris, I am a new subscriber because you were so lovingly mentioned on the floss bossin cousins channel and I am so glad they did! You have just encouraged me, a 45 year stitcher who has never been to a retreat either to get signed up for next year! Thank you for your honesty in sharing your apprehension of going by yourself, I am sure it will help others too!
Thank you for being so honest and sharing about your fears of going to a retreat. I too have fears, I have mobility issues, I do not like my picture taken, and I have not looked hard into going to a retreat because of those things. You have encouraged me to move forward and hopefully I can meet some flosstubers and girl fan out!
Thank you for sharing your Stitchconn experience. I have also never been to a retreat but need to just do it. I hesitate because I would be attending alone and wouldn't know anyone, but you encouraged me to take the step. Holiday, Home, Seasons.
I stumbled across your flosstube channel today, and am so glad I did! I loved your honesty about the anxiety around attending retreats, especially alone and for the first time. You gave me a lot of encouragement! I look forward to seeing more of your stitching in future episodes, as I enjoyed what little bit you shared today. Holiday Seasons
I'm so glad you enjoyed Stitch Con Chris, well done for being so brave. Unfortunately I live in the UK so it's unlikely I will come to Stitch Con but I need to consider a UK stitching retreat. holiday, home, seasons 💗
Chris I am so happy that you had a wonderful time at Stitch Con. I would love to try and go next year. With everyone talking about it on there FlossTube makes me want to go even more. I was tearing up right along with you as I always do. I am also a very emotional person. I love your Four Turtle Doves finish, it’s so cute. My favorite holiday is Christmas, my favorite season is autumn, and I always looked forward to going home after a long day at work. Chris you are an amazing person and I always look forward to your next FlossTube ❤
Thank you for the video. Oh I am so glad you went and talk about a big jump both feet in to your first retreat nothing bigger than stitch con I’m sure and that your experience was wonderful. Your smile while talking about it sums up your time there. Holiday home seasons
Chris, I want to thank you for your story. I'm ecstatic that you did go to StitchCon, had a fabulous time, met wonderful stitchers and then shared this story with all of us. Something to be proud of, a great accomplishment.
I’m so glad you went. I have been able to live vicariously through you and every other floss tuber that went to StitchCon as I am not able to travel due to being the caregiver for my stroke survivor husband for the last 9 years. My anxiety for travel has gone up the longer we are basically housebound. I’m so glad you had such an amazing time. On top of this I love watching your flosstube as you have such a calming voice.❤
You Just have a beautiful, kind and loving soul. You touch my hart every time. How wonderful to see you back. And I think it was hard for you to be stronger then your anxiety. But you did it. Let it give you strength in the future when you think back at this experience. Where this community lift you up and embracces you with love and warm save feelings. Thank you Chris for sharing this with use ❤
I am so glad you had a wonderful time. I hope to be able to go one of these years. There is no danger of falling asleep with you - you are a joy and there is always a smile around the corner or a chuckle as is so often the case. Seasons holiday home
Great that you took the chance and attended Stitch-con….it is a wonderful weekend! I’m a local stitcher, so I’ve attended every year. Barbara and her team do a wonderful job and the people who attend… terrific! I just wish you could meet everyone there. You should consider attending Keepsakes winter retreat.Stitch-away.. much smaller , but great too!! It’s held at a state park near Cincinnati….i hope to meet you… I always attend A…. So maybe!😀
So glad you had a wonderful time at Stitch Con. So glad to see you back again on your channel. Love your finish. You are such a wonderful person and I am sure that all the people at Stitch Con were pleased to meet you. If I went to Stitch Con I would of loved to meet you too. Can not wait for your next video. Happy Stitching.
I’m so happy your heart is full, my friend. You deserve to have had that amazing experience at Stitch Con and meet more of your neighbourhood - yes with a u because what is a neighbourhood without u!😉 I had goosebumps and tears pricking my own eyes just listening to how special it all was for you. 😘
Great to see you back! So glad you had a wonderful experience at Stitch Con, I’ve not been, but would certainly love to attend. You should also plan to come back to Sweet Home Alabama and attend Rocket city retreat with us North Alabama stitchers, or Stitching in the Wild in Montgomery hosted by Gary and Ronnie of Garson Stitchery. It’s so hot here now that I’m getting a lot of stitching done by simply staying inside where it’s cool! Wishing you fun stitches, and of course a big War Eagle! 🦅 🪡. Love from Alabama❤
It's a bit overwhelming to go to a stitching retreat but you have inspired me to do it. Sounds like it was just what you needed. Holiday. Home. Seasons.
Chris - I’m so happy you went!!! Nothing like hanging out with like minded humans that are truly kind and generous. I hope some day to meet you in person. Hope you can come to some more retreats around the country. And do you know how hard it is to stitch with happy tears getting in the way?!
I learned about you from watching sweet Callie and Christy from Floss Bossin Cousins. What a joy it was to hear how much you enjoyed your experience at Stitch Con. I hope to go one day! Take care! I would be thrilled with any of the charts. HOLIDAY. HOME. SEASONS.
I understand that feeling of imposter syndrome and the hurdle that fear can be to any experience. I am so glad you were able to master it and got to partake in such a spectacular experience! I hear about you constantly on Christy and Callie's flosstube, so I feel like I know you from their videos as well as yours and they were ecstatic to meet you! You are a light in the cross stitch community and I hope that I'll be blessed to meet you sometime in the future as well. :D Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Hello, Chris! I'm always so happy to see your episodes pop up. Retreats are always so much fun, I've mostly been to local retreats but some day I will have to get on a plane and go to one of these BIG ones. I'm looking forward to the start of season 3! Holiday Home
Love seeing your progress. Glad you had a wonderful time at Stitch Con. Glad you made it home safely. Can wait for the next Holiday. The fall season is just around the corner.
I’m so glad you had a great time at Stitch Con. I haven’t attended a retreat yet. I felt your anxiety thinking about going. One of these days I’ll make it. The best place to be for a holiday is home.
As I was watching your video, I was stitching Primrose Cottage Patriotic Quaker. Those Quaker pieces can be tricky. Just ask me about how much I messed up the spring one but I made it work. I am so glad you pushed yourself to go to Stitch Con. I’ve dealt with depression and anxiety most of my life for various reasons. I finally got to the point where I forced myself to get out and socialize and I found that I had some of the best times when I did that. I’m so happy that you went and that it was such a wonderful experience, fulfilling experience. I hope that if this happens to you in another circumstance you will remember what you went through this time and push through it. I’m lots older than you so I know what it’s like. I’m so happy it worked for you. Loved your four calling birds Satsuma stitch and as for doing a talking video, I will listen to you any time.
It was so great to meet you in person at Stitch-Con!! I too had a fabulous time at my first ever retreat. I hope that you enjoy the Satsuma Street Halloween cat ornament! Holiday
So glad to see you back! I loved hearing about your stitch con experience, I did my first retreat solo in February and came very close to canceling as well but so glad I didn’t! I just signed up this week for Stitch New England, would love to see you there!
Yay for Season 3! Thank you for your Stitch Con recap, I too have never been to a retreat of any kind. And I can totally relate to your feelings of anxiety. I’m so glad you pushed through and had an amazing time! I have missed your flosstubes, but I completely understand there are times when stitching goes on hiatus for a variety of reasons. I don’t recall you having tons of WIP’s, but maybe you would consider a WIP parade for the opening of Season 3? Whatever your content, it is always enjoyable and I look forward to it!
I enjoy staying home during the holiday seasons. I've become very content with that. But, I am going to try and get into Stitch-Con next year. It looks and sounds like so much fun!
Hi Chris, I just found your floss tube you were motioned by the Floss Bossin cousins they shared pictures from Stitch con. So glad you decided to go and had a memorable and fun time thank you for sharing your experience. On to binge watch your past floss tube's take care and happy stitching.

My favorite holiday is Christmas, my favorite season is autumn, and I always looked forward to going home after a long day at work. Chris you are an amazing person and I always look forward to your next FlossTube ❤
I have missed you terribly. I’m glad you’re back. I can’t wait for one day to go to Stitch Con. Love you 😘
Thank you for the video.
Thank you so much for those kind words! xoxo Chris
I'm so glad your back and found your stitches bug! Holiday, home seasons.

Holiday. Home. Seasons.
It sounds like you had a grand time! My husband is scheming to get me to Stitch Con next year! Happy stitching to you!

Chris - I’m so happy you went!!! Nothing like hanging out with like minded humans that are truly kind and generous. I hope some day to meet you in person. Hope you can come to some more retreats around the country. And do you know how hard it is to stitch with happy tears getting in the way?!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I learned about you from watching sweet Callie and Christy from Floss Bossin Cousins. What a joy it was to hear how much you enjoyed your experience at Stitch Con. I hope to go one day! Take care! I would be thrilled with any of the charts. HOLIDAY. HOME. SEASONS.
Welcome and thank you for watching! xoxo Chris
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm glad you had so much fun at Stitch Con! I've never been, but maybe one day! Seasons
Good to see you’re back! I’d love to stitch the HOME bundle! Greetings from Central Pennsylvania!
So wonderful to see you again. ❤
What a treat to get a chance to sit down and watch. I’ve missed you and am eagerly looking forward to Season 3!! Holiday
Hello, Chris! I'm always so happy to see your episodes pop up. Retreats are always so much fun, I've mostly been to local retreats but some day I will have to get on a plane and go to one of these BIG ones. I'm looking forward to the start of season 3! Holiday Home
Ahh I wanna go next year! Stitch con 23 was my first (and still only) retreat❤️❤️🙏 I’m so glad you had a great time!!🥰
Love seeing your progress.
I’m very happy to stay at home, and stitch! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!
It was nice meeting you. I was the lone stitcher from Connecticut. It was such a nice weekend.
Yes indeed! So good to meet you! xoxo Chris
Holiday
Oh, Lynne! I just LOVE it! Thank you so very, very much! xoxo Chris
So glad to see you back! I loved hearing about your stitch con experience, I did my first retreat solo in February and came very close to canceling as well but so glad I didn’t! I just signed up this week for Stitch New England, would love to see you there!
So happy you’re home from your trip. Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. Missed your videos! ❤
Great to see again ❤ glad you had a lovely time at stitch con looks amazing 😊😊 Holiday home seasons
