Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Edinburgh Waverley is such a wonderful beautiful railway station in Central Edinburgh. With Avanti West Coast. LNER, ScotRail, CrossCountry, TransPennine Express and Caledonian Sleeper.
Lovely views of Edinburgh Castle from the station as well. Thoroughly enjoyed my time in Scotland, fantastic country 😃🇬🇧
@@StarlifeStudios Indeed. I have been to Edinburgh back in February for a funeral and it was snowing but the atmosphere of Edinburgh is just amazing.

I have some sad news. I’m starting to move on and do other things, so I might not watch your videos as much. It was a pleasure learning about the UK rail network. I will probably watch these videos this summer as I prepare for my trip to London.

THE CLASS 43 IS BACK?!?!
They're still used by ScotRail, CrossCountry and some GWR services i believe
they’re used sometimes on long distance intercity journeys here in scotland
@@h00vercsfnsdk24 back in 2019 GWR retired the HST from intercity service and kept them as Castle sets

Thanks Thameslink Travels! Driver training for LUMO was done using Transpennine or Hull Trains 802s since the 803s hadn’t all been accepted into service at this time. They are more or less identical to drive.
