Wanted to try an audiobook. Kept flipping around free audiobooks. Until l heard this narrator voice, it's perfect. It made me interested in the book & the Patterson books. Hope there are more books with this voice.
Recently had surgery retina detachment so I can keep my head down for 10 days or so can’t watch TV so I found this book and love listening to it. What a great story James Patterson thank you.
Well, I'm new to audible books and I listen while I sew for hours. But, now I don't know how I will be able to listen to anybody else after your masterful narration. Great story with a wonderful narration.
I read this book and many others of his while in jail. I read over a dozen of them, he's a great writer. My grandmother can't harder see any more to read.... So glad I found this to share with her.
Wow 😅 this is a truly captivating book! James Patterson's storytelling prowess is simply unparalleled, keeping me on the edge of my seat with every turn of the page.🎉
Chapter 76 is what I've been craving for 😏 Omg I've fully gasped, teared up, laughed and simply just enjoyed this book. Thank you for providing this story on audio. It's definitely replaced TV time. Thank you ❤
Found this just a few days ago. Looking for something to listen to while at work. I have enjoyed many of Patterson's books in paperback. This one was good to listen to.
TW: Drug use, grief, vehicle accidents, domestic abuse This was a good book to listen to in the background while I cross-stitched. It's not terribly complicated, and neither is cross-stitching. I always thought of James Patterson as a bit of a content farm. I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of the storytelling and the clear research Patterson put into the topics his story covered beforehand. I look forward to my next James Patterson audiobook.
Wish these books had options for. Rain or thunder storm sounds in the back. Nothing better than a James Patterson spooker on audio with creepy backround fireplace. The BEST THNK U
if you have an iphone, you can add the "hearing" control to your control panel (where flashlight, screen recording, etc would be). there is a toggle for rain sounds, ocean sounds, a stream, or white noise.
I just finished this and thought it was excellent. I travel to and from work and felt that the storyline was good and the narrator did a great job to keep me interested. I look forward to hearing more of his narration. This is my first James Patterson book so I didn’t really know what to expect. I can definitely say that I will look into more of his books. Thanks for posting this version!
I have read all of Pattersons books. I like he invites others like Candice Fox to jump start her career. His Alex cross series is my favorite. But he has a woman’s club series, a middle school age series, and more . Must be 100 books. You will not be disappointed in checking him out.
Have glaucoma so I started listening to audios instead of watching movies on line more. James Patterson is a favorite so finding his audios has been an awesome discovery Just finished Escape last week Love that. This book is definitely a 10+ out of 10 Can’t wait for the movie version 🫠
First time I decided to listen to an audiobook on UA-cam. Got about 20 minutes in when I realized I had already read the book lol. But I'm going to listen to the whole thing because it was a really good book!
You got 20 minutes in without recognizing that you'd read it because Edoardo Ballerini completely transforms the book. I've always relished when a good book is successfully translated into a film or mini-series. It creates a whole new experience. (I think I first realized how much an adaptation can sometimes transform a book into something far superior when I saw the movie "The Reader" and then read the book. Greater depth and suspense was able to be conveyed in the film than was possible on the printed page.)
Interesting to read the comments … no ads for me. I wonder if the channel has either changed the UA-cam settings for this or maybe, for whatever, where I am, the algorithm doesn’t bring up any ads (?) (I’m in Los Angeles). Weird Chinese music for 50 seconds, from 4:06:44 to 4:07:34. Still listening to it … so far, enjoying it.
This is the first audiobook I've read and I love James Patterson so I wanted to try and I've cried, laughed this book is really good I'm a narrator I just loved him and how he read the book
The free UA-cam despite the advertising made my 14 hour journey-drive tolerable. I love it so far & I am not a big gang, drugs, addiction reader. I love mystery but I do love the characters and I really dislike Kline! For me it isn’t really about the end but the journey. Thx
I saw this entire story line with my own eyes! The imagery used in this literary work was impeccable. It felt as if I was watching a movie. Great piece of work! Please listen or shall I say watch 😊
I just finished listening to "The Inn" audiobook. This is my first encounter with a James Patterson book. I've listened to quite a number of audiobooks over the years. Edoardo Ballerini is by far the most engaging narrator of any audiobook I've listened to. I can't imagine getting as close to these wonderful characters nor find myself becoming so swept up in their lives and entanglements if I were to have read this myself. I wept uncontrollably in the final chapters. I'd indeed gotten to know and care about these folks so much, I just wanted to find out where The Inn is in Gloucester so I could take over that vacant basement apartment.
My first James Patterson book was from the library out of curiosity " j ack and Gill" ever since, I tried to get All of james Patterson's books. . Great writer.
A brilliant book, I listen to audiobooks when working cause my work is usually repetitive and I can focus on this, so more hours on an audiobook means more hours working, this has been a very fast listen, LOVED THE ENTIRE GANG 😂
I love so many of James Patterson’s books! If you’re looking for your next audiobook, I’ve put my entire Sam Reilly action and adventure series up on UA-cam. It’s free to listen to and complete. I wrote it and paid to have it narrated so you can listen to it and know it’s not stolen and you’re supporting the author. Enjoy 🙂
In 2016 we had a fentanyl epidemic in my small town of about 6 thousand people when all the doctor feel goods got shut down. We had an average of 5 fentynil od's a week. Thank you the Dea
Had to double check a few times myself if Burr started moonlighting as a audio book narrator lol. I was thinking, “Man, he really is branching out from comedy and film”
Fell asleep listening to a different audio but must of pressed onto this in my sleep. Thanks sleeping me.
Gigs🎉
Wanted to try an audiobook. Kept flipping around free audiobooks. Until l heard this narrator voice, it's perfect. It made me interested in the book & the Patterson books. Hope there are more books with this voice.
It’s got to be the voice for me otherwise it ruins the story
Recently had surgery retina detachment so I can keep my head down for 10 days or so can’t watch TV so I found this book and love listening to it. What a great story James Patterson thank you.
This was a wonderful book! I laughed, gasped, cried, and smiled. The narrator was impeccable. Thank you so much!

I like that narrator I've heard him before!
Well, I'm new to audible books and I listen while I sew for hours. But, now I don't know how I will be able to listen to anybody else after your masterful narration. Great story with a wonderful narration.
I listen while quilting, I'm just starting this story.
Look up Nika Kent I’ve just listen to five of her books amazing and great readers
Loved this book!!! The narrator is amazing!! They should make this a movie!!
I have a nursery and work outside in the heat most days; July in Alabama, Holy moly! This book is a fabulous distraction.
Greetings from a wet and cold Scotland

I wanted to listen to this slowly, like a few days or so. But it was so good I finished it in one day 😩

I did cross stitch too while I listen to audio books

To some people, if you don’t like what you hear- don’t listen! I enjoy listening even with ads
Love James Patterson books. This one as well. Narrator’s are great in every audiobook’s Thank you. Very exciting to listen😊
I hope this narrator wins an Audie Award 🥇

Eduardo Ballerini is always wonderful. Hashet Audio always has the best writers and books. Thanks for posting this!
Such a good read. Thanks so much Eduardo Ballerini. I just got into audiobooks and he’s the best narrator yet! Awesome book.
Great narration! Hope to hear more of mr ballerini . . . Tx!
Great book, great American accent love love love my beautiful world with all the downfalls and all the beauty. Makes the world go round.

Me too, have to find another one.
James Patterson is one of my favorite thoroughly enjoying this

I normally do not like audio books because I do not like the readers voice or how they try to change for each character. This is great, so thank you!
Writers this rich can hire actors.
What I hate is when authors read their own..augh!
I wasn't expecting to love this, but I did. If anyone has recommendations on what to listen to next, I'm all ears.
This is the first audiobook I've read and I love James Patterson so I wanted to try and I've cried, laughed this book is really good I'm a narrator I just loved him and how he read the book
Predictable but thoroughly enjoyable. Loved the reader. Thank you for making it free.

Nice book . I've like every book by James Patterson . Fan since the 90s . Narrator sounds more like an old rancher , but did a good job.
His voice is Nothing like an old rancher
Pretty good , kept me interested and entertained all the way through
Thank you for the upload.
I was looking fur something exactly like this and it's come just in time
Great narration. Story was formulaic
I thoroughly enjoyed the drama between Robinson and Cline.
I enjoyed this story thanks for sharing it!

Boy that sounds eerily familiar. Coal town here, Dr. Kraynak was in DEEP. About that time too I think.
Excellent book. Great narrorator. Thank you so much.
Even there are some dark moments, but it is a feel good book. I enjoyed the book and narrations.
🥺Women narrators are good to hear
Really good book…thank you, Mr. Patterson💚💛🧡💜🩵
well written and read. Thankyou
Well narrated. Mr. Patterson has done it again.
Klein reminds me so much of White Rose in Mr. Robot. Idk if it’s just the narraters voice but so much like her!
Thanks for the upload!
Amazing, music to my ears, thank you! 🥷
Bill Burr narrated a whole book and I didn't hear his voice crack once! Editing process must have been brutal
Had to double check a few times myself if Burr started moonlighting as a audio book narrator lol. I was thinking, “Man, he really is branching out from comedy and film”
Excellent narration!
Wonderfully read, thank you.
Wonderful weekend escape!
This was a really good book! Thank you for the upload. Look forward to the next 1!
loved it, very good story.
The audio actor sounds immensely similar to Bill Bixby. Very well done.
First timer here 🙋🏾♂️ hope im not disappointed! Lol jk
GOOD AUDIOBOOK STORY. THE PERSON TELLING THE STORY SOUNDS LIKE: ACTOR CHRISTOPHER WALKEN.
Loved it great job
Lovely voice and reading
Enjoyed. Thank you
This one is really good. Enjoy it thoroughly
Blimey, I don't think I've ever listened to a book with so many chapters
One of the things I like about James Patterson is that he splits things up into many chapters. Gives me a place to stop if I need to.
I truly enjoyed this
Good book..the ad’s pretty much go away after a while and the fact his name is bill and sounds like Bill Burr had me laughing
Great listen 🎧 📚
Enjoyable read
I have UA-cam premium so I do not get commercials but be prepared for the random song at 4:06:45 to 4:07:35……..
Loved this! Is it just because I am as old as water that the narrator sounded like Gene Kelley?
Omgosh! Yes, he DOES sound like Gene Kelley!!
He does.
Gene Kelly? Didn’t she marry the Prince of Mecano?
