These pundits are so bias that they don't even hide it. Madrid had a game plan same as Liverpool and the superior game plan had the day which was that of Real Madrid. It’s clear that Madrid’s tactics made Liverpool look poor. Real Madrid’s defense was not bad, we just played more defensive. Possession doesn’t dictate matches, it dictates more of tempo. But tempo also doesn’t dictate matches. So even if Madrid may have had less chances, we took them, and made the best of them when we got it.

Stewart Robson made the most sense, because he actually commentates on the La Liga games and understands the small technicalities involved in the game which he described here. Whereas if you watch English football pundits, the hardly mention any technical stuff but use vague words like "enterprising", "gritty" which in reality mean nothing when it comes to tactics.
8:12 part of sustaining the pressure is to not let Liverpool get behind the Madrid backline, that means making Salah step in to the left and Diaz step in to the right, much of their shots were taken in the middle, where has a great probability of stopping due to his massive size. Courtiuos stepped up when Salah got behind Mendy for that opportunity late in the game.

He should listen to Liverpool’s manager, he even said that they played in to Real’s hand by trying to play around instead trying through the middle, which they weren’t allowed to. And yes Real’s defence was stellar. The only reason Courtois’ save number was high cause Liverpool was forced to take shot from outside, of course Courtois was a beast. And Vini read the play and made the run, it wasn’t a fluke, he made the run ball fell in front of him, and he put it in. He made that run when he saw Fede whine up for the shot already.

In hindsight, almost every pundit (barring the few sane ones) have had problems with madrid scoring 2-3 goals in a space of 10 minutes and defending for the remaining 80 mins. Just to remind you Real Madrid conceded around 20 shots on target against the last Mancity match and Liverpool(total of 180 minutes) and they had 4 on targets. Remember your defense gave chances it was just we didn't use them effectively. Guardiola and Klopp are the two best managers in the world, only thing is they didn't have proper strikers. Starting from next year you are going to see these managers with a more direct approach in important matches. FYI I am 100% sure RMA will not win the UCL for the next 5 years
