This was really a gem, could have been super cheesy, but their comedic timing, chemistry and the writing and directing worked so well together. Also like the actors doing little bit parts really committed and just actually actually funny. Finally a real, really good Rom Com. Titus also kiiiilled it in such a short scene.

I picked up on Glen Powell back when no one ever heard of him when he did probably the most underrated movie in history; a little film called Red Wing, from 2013 - which nobody except myself in the universe has seen. He had “star” written all over him back then and I’ve been waiting for the world to catch up with me ever since. He’s getting there, but he deserves to be at the Ryan Reynolds-Chris Evans level of fame. And as far as pure acting chops, he runs circles around all of them.
He's getting rave reviews for top gun maverick and heard from some women like some female youtubers/podcasters he looks damn hot especially in that shirtless volleyball/football scene. Hope his career skyrockets from hear on out or all those producers get him to do all the hot entertaining rom coms for the next 5 years at least! I'd be so down for that.
Funny movie and funny script, you dont see everyday a movie about a working place... the chemistry was great, not cheesy and you could genuiely the characters were really into each other. Lucy Liu is a great comedian..She's hysterical. Glen is a hottie and he is great in Top Gun.
This is my first time watching this interview and it I never thought Sydney and Glen had anything going on between them. I thought they were just playing into it and had a really good chemistry as close friends, but seeing him talk about the Onset kiss with her versus with Sydney is a huge difference and he never once feeds into it or jokes, when she talks about waiting years or months to kiss him but he plays into jokes like that with Sydney every time 😅
I still need to see the film itself (I'm SO far behind on my Netflix queue), but this interview was so cute. They obviously really like each other and get alone great. I'm really looking forward to watching the film late today or tonight.
i can imagine people on the street heckling them lol.. i feel he coulda stuck his tongue down her throat like she wanted lol but i see how he was being respectful on set she seemed to be more restrained in the movie
Sorry, but I saw something entirely different from the other reviews. This movie was like a last bastion of male female heterosexual WASP love. The minorities in this movie were depicted as greedy, selfish and vicious. Am I the only one that thinks this?? I would not recommend this under ANY circumstances and by the way don't assume that I haven't watched the movie because I already did years ago when it started coming out on Netflix.
zoey is kind of mean. I mean she kind of has this way about her that she always teases her male costars in a way that is a little too much. it's like she has to put them down sometimes.... idk. she is just a little mean i think.' also side note: *I HATE movies that always put down jobs like assistants, waitresses, receptionists, office cleaners, or even just smaller company desk jobs* .... its like "excuse me, but there is NOTHING wrong with having these types of jobs". and there is no need to reach higher - to earn more money or get recognition or become famous or whatever,-. in order to be happy and content. you can have a tiny weird somewhat routine boring job, and still be a happy clown and have lots of friends and life and color in you life. too many movies put down so many random jobs and its pissing me off. lol.
Well most movies I can think of that really feature a waitress as a lead, she's the star of the movie and turns out to be a great person. The best example, of course, being "Waitress" with Keri Russell. :)
