I'm in love with my new Marc Jacob's tote! It's absolutely amazing! I have it in canvas in a small size and I carry my 13 inch laptop in it to work. It fits so much and so carefree. The price point can't be beat! I was initially interested in the chloe woody but I'm glad I waited. I still love the chloe woody but there is no comparison in the price point for such similar bags!
Very true, I think for a mini size as well it’s nice having the zipper as the smaller the bag that more easily I feel things can fall out

I honestly don’t consider any of these to be travel bags. They are large bags that you can take while traveling but none of them have features that lend to being a “travel bag.” I travel a lot for work and open totes…not a chance. Delicate bags…absolutely not. Bags that you can’t easily run with (backpack or a bag with a suitcase sleeve)…not gonna happen. Once you’re on a plane weekly you start to realize how important it is for a bag to be easily cleaned, airport running friendly, and secure. They are all beautiful though.
Thanks for your comment. I agree but wanted to keep this video focused on ‘handbag hand luggage’ rather than go down the route of suitcases or backpacks - both of which I might make soon 🙌

I totally agree with Ravensjewel. All the things she pointed out plus my travel bag must have a crossbody strap so I can run unhindered, and be hands-free when required. Also outside pockets are mandatory for quibble access to sanitiser tissues keys phone

Personally, I have used the Mens gucci supreme backpack with black leather trim. It is light, secure, hard wearing, fits a laptop amd purse, book, toiletries and phone, cords, passport. Looks exactly the same as the day I bought it in Rome years ago AND my hubby will carry it.

No way am I taking something I can’t clean after putting on the floor in an airport or below the seat in an airplane. Longchamp came out with coated canvas le pliage. I got it in black and recently used it. Just used an antibacterial wipe to wipe it all down after I picked it up from below the seat. It was perfect! And it closes. Love the MJ tote but in the mini. I’m not a big tote gal. I have my eye on the Chloe all leather one but I’m hoping they come out with the mini size.

The only one i dont really like is the Maxi from YSL. The Logo is so too much. A pity because otherwise i think the bag is great.
My favourites are the Dior Book Tote which i bought and it was worth, the Chanel of course is a dream... and the Chloe in Leather.

You cant have a open tote when going through airport security. Everything will fall out. Same when you try to put it in the overhead compartment. I know cos i fly twice a month. Best are those which have a pocketzip back which you can slip on your roller suitcase. Marc jacobs is good. Light leather/fabric would just pick up dirt on the conveyor belt.
