- The lovely and talented Keke Palmer gets the chance to show off both her acting and singing abilities in the uplifting new film, "Joyful Noise." Keke plays the daughter of the church choir director (Queen Latifah) who who falls for the new boy in town, played by Jeremy Jordan.
Bonnie Laufer of Tribute spoke with Jeremy and Keke in Los Angeles about their chemistry, the amazing songs they get to sing in the film, working with Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah and kissing for the first time.

I mean, he had to kiss girls that weren’t his wife 8 times a week for a long time bc he had to do newsies which Jack kisses Katherine 4 times and the Bonnie and Clyde where bonnie and clyde kiss multiple times. Plus he had to sing “bonnie” which was literally him singing supposedly naked in a bathtub to bonnie. Yeah he won’t feel awkward kissing keke for the most part. Also I love Keke’s friends.
In the movie Keke played a girl next door part. I love it. Too many young performer go wild when the legal age. I hope Keke is not doing that. There is nothing wrong with maintain a good woman imagine.
