    My father had 3 of these. Fine cars and we drove trough Europe in these cars. Nice memory's and I stil drive BNW today

    6:23 Looks like it has the (optional)? Nardi steering wheel from Italy. And it appears to have an electric sunroof back then? Check out the rectangular switch where the crank would go.

    Compare the BMW roundel at 4:32 to the one at 5:35 - it's the older design. Wonder why?

      My answer may be a bit late, but the logo changed in 1963. As the first "Neue Klasse" cars were produced in 1962 there, there are a few cars with the old logo.

      @@billg7205 Pre smog or not, A 60's to 70's Olds with them small block V8 had no change against the 02 series BMWs, and they only had a 1.8L engine. Whereas a Chevy or Olds weight like 5 tons and came with SLOW 3 speed automatics, slower reaction than a manual launch. why are you even comparing a heavy luxury cruiser to a european compact ''sports'' car?

      @@hjm2062 You know nothing about cars. Gen II Cutlass was not "like 5 tons". They weighed 3440 lbs with over 300hp. HP per pound the BMW wasn't even close.

    I've always found it interesting how BMW sounds in German. The way they say it, it sounds like "BMV".

      In a time when great American engineering brought you pushrod engines with low specific power outputs
