I made this, and it was generally good. But, I'm wondering about the salt? The 1 tablespoon made it very salty, so wondered if it may be 1 teaspoon? I know most recipes indicate salt to taste, but I like ones that state the amount. Also, what if wanted to keep the peas a bit more tender (so has a bit of bite to it)? How many minutes do you think I'd need to cook for...for unsoaked peas as well as for soaked peas? Thank you for the recipe!
Thanks for very informative and helpful video!! Looking forward for more. One question ?? Where have you purchased all of your beautiful glass dishes and bowels.
Do you wash the lid. Very nice recipes. I an very new to the instapot just have a hard time with how much water to use. Also when you put it in saute mode after a while do you switch to slow mode as on saute things tend to burn due to heat.
+shaili patel Hi! Welcome to Instapottin! Yes, I remove the sealing ring and wash the lid and ring after each time I use the pot. You do have to be careful with sauté mode as the pot heats up very quickly. Most of my recipes usually only require sauté mode for a few minutes so I haven't had an issue with burning. After sauté mode, I usually go to manual mode to pressure cook the food. Maybe you can try following the exact steps of one of our recipes and see if that helps :)

Can the Indians make anything without adding enough salt to keep the salt mines working?
I like your cooking
Very much.
I have an instant pot.
Thank you.
😎 ☺ 💘
Thank you for tuning in!
Great recipe! What if you DID soak your peas? How long should I set the Instant Pot for?
monicap37 Hi! If you did soak your peas ahead of time, you can use the "BEAN" function on the InstantPot and you'll be good to go!
For how long?
+monicap37 the bean button is set for 30 minutes automatically.
Poonam Rani can u plz make Also matar with those dried beans in the instant pot plz
We'll put it on the list.
Hi.. mine didn’t get cooked in 60 mins timer on high pressure
It could be due to the peas being older? There are various reasons why this could have happened.
