Another one I've been to, my room was in the newer part of the hotel, all very nice and it had a jacuzzi bath! (which worked too). I've also stayed in the Coventry city centre Britannia which is also perfectly nice, although nowhere near as grand as this, a lot of people don't like the 70's brutalist exterior but I have a soft spot for that type of architecture too haha
Evenin that’s not to bad the second room you did well shame about the kettle nice bathroom I’m going to shock yer I would stay there in that second room 😂 till the next one 😊
I know you don't do politics, so I'll make this short. These companies that have sold out and agreed to house said people have done so at the tax payers expense. Now said people have gone, the government have kindly used the taxpayers money to refurbish them. I personally, would (on principle) never, ever, stay at any of these establishments.
Certainly not a worst rated Hotel 😮 people love to jump on the back of negativity and I think that Britannia is currently very trendy and popular to hate regardless of how you personally find the accomodation or if you have even visited.
It was Kersley Hospital back in the 1950's. I was born there, the parish of Meriden at the time.
I was born there in 1964, it's changed a lot.
I've stayed here at a regular event for the last four years and no complaints at all.
The refurbed room was really good, nice and clean. And a nice new bed.£43 is very good price i would stay there.
Fantastic review. Glad you got an upgrade. Curtains not closing is a big no no from me. Looks like they're doing a great job at upgrading it.
Great Video! Some of the older parts of the hotel (1st room) could be better, whereas the refurbished room (2nd room) was very nice!

Oh nice I'm yet to try the other ones in Coventry I do love seeing the architectural delights though
@@wanderingwiganer parking is a little pricey in the city centre, £10 for 24hrs in a council car park under an overpass haha.
@TheFoolishness95 Ouch that's a but steep
That looks lovely I would stay there.❤
Looks nice 👍
Good value if and its a big if you get a refurbished room to the standard you had 🍻
Gone downhill massively, I believe the council use to house emergency "cases"
