The printer will print out a first page speed of 9 seconds (first page) for black ink, and 10 seconds for color. 1200x1200 dpi for black, and up to 4800x1200 optimized dpi for color prints. The Thermal Inject technology comes in 4 cartridges - Black, Magenta, Yellow, and Cyan. Two sizes of ink - the smaller cartridges will print up to 1,000 pages, and the large cartridges will print up to 1,600 pages.

2 things, cord sticks out so printer doesn’t sit flush with wall and why doesn’t output try come out automatically? That was a misstep for sure.

Hi I Bought this printer and in 2 days I got an error reading "The print head appears to be missing not detected, or incorrectly installed ." Not so happy with this product , considering I was unable to get any printing completed.

I purchased this printer earlier 2019 to replace the HP8600. The 9025 is cheaply made compared to the HP8600. The top paper tray is flimsy and doesn't hold the blank sheets tightly. Right now, I'm trying to figure out the amt of in my cartridges. Wish I could have my 8600 repaired, but HP stated it could not be fixed.

That’s disappointing to hear. I had an HP 8600 that was bought in 2012. It finally died as the printer head just wore out sending black ink everywhere in the guts. A new printer head is $179. I just bought the HP Pro 9025. I had always noticed that the 8600 was very well built with solid appropriately gauged plastic. I’ll be on the lookout for what this one can do. This could be the third one in a row that gets returned to Amazon if I’m not impressed.

My hp same as the video and it does not scan multiple pages as it used to and when I print it says "The output bin has reached its capacity. Remove paper from the bin to continue printing." Rhere is no paper there so I'm worried it will no longer work, it'll print when I pullout the bin and until I put it back a certain way it prints

I have difficulty printing PHOTOS, The thicker PHOTO PAPER jams. How can I get the thicker PHOTO paper to work?
You must not have tried to print envelopes. This printer really can't print envelopes because it can't handle the thickness. They sort of skirt around this issue in their support docs. I don't need a "smart" printer -- I need one that prints envelopes. Right now my printer is un-usable because there's an envelope jammed in the back, and I can't figure out how to fix the jam. The support docs don't help. This printer is not nearly as easy to use as the HP Pro 8630 that we had for many years. This one is more cheaply made. If you're thinking of buying one, ask the store to demonstrate how to remove a jammed envelope or any paper jam. It's a mystery.
That was last year. It's possible I didn't.

How to printer out on hpphoto paper
I note that at 3:26 you used a cross-fade before one had the opportunity to have a decent look at the print output. What I did see wasn't exactly brilliant.
Good points, and I'll work on that for future videos. Video examples of print copies on UA-cam are tougher, because of compression, and how you are watching the video. Thanks for the input.

How to scan multiple pages from the top feeder.
I am trying to print on postcards but they won't go through tray 2. Am I supposed to be using the opening in the back of the printer? I used to print these all the time on my HP PhotoSmart 7520 that I had before this 9025.

is it possible for the auto feeder on the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-in-One Printer to do quick 2-sided scans/copies on this printer? I own the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw and the auto feeder on that printer is not capable to do that feature.

I have the HP9025 and keep getting the error B305ED09. HP says disconnect the power from the wall but this is not a long term solution as the error keeps occurring, any ideas?
How can you tell which ink cartridges need to be replaced? The display just says replace color cartridge.
The 9025 is almost impossible to fix paper jams. It doesn't have a good access door to do so. It tends to eat size # 10 envelopes and jams often. The LCD screen is way too small. As a result , it is difficult to use and reset.

It has a bottom tray for legal size but no option for which paper tray to print from.
It's a pretty basic printer.
Bought this printer, in part based on this review in 2019. Immediately registered and signed up for HP ink replacement plan.
Due to covid, the printer's seen very very light use. So light that I maxed out the "carry over" pages on my ink plan almost every month I've paid the $6-$7 fee. So light that I've never had to replace the black ink, and only had to replace the colored ink once.
So today I get the notice that its time to replace black ink. Open the door, and the ink carriage won't center to accept a change. Follow the manual (still have box), follow online HP trouble shooting guides/manual, text support, call support, follow support playbook.
Upshot? "it looks like we have a hardware issue and because your out of warranty, unfortunately, I have to recommend a new printer."
Chalk up a -1/5 stars on this review.
Your printer went out, how does that make this a bad review?
when printing out mass documents (Reports, documents, etc) drops documents on the floor. It is also loud and annoying.... most of all I hate the output tray...

I came here to see if my printer was faulty.
It is not loud. It is LOUD like a broken machine.
It is fast for 2000 standards, but slow for 2020 standards.
And it spits paper all over the place like no printer I ever owned.
You can put it in quiet mode - prints slower - also specify hours.
How do I shut off the printing of the report after I send a fax? Every fax I get a report and it uses paper and ink
Not sure. I didn't have that. Guessing there is a setting in the app to turn off. Check with HP.

I'm trying to set my Officejet Pro 9025 up for Direct WiFi. My printer shows a password of 12345678, but my windows 10 Dell XPS-13 says that it is not correct, and will not connect. I have tried deleting the printer and even used the procedure listed on HP's site to delete all HP printer spool info in the Root Level Technique, but to no avail. What other options do I have?
Obtained a HP Office Jet Pro 9025 and still need to fax occasionally. We have used an all in one several times before and very easy set up for fax. Our main phone line is the same line we use for a fax. I cannot figure out how to get an incoming or outgoing fax to work. I ran a fax test report and that states all items pass on report but everything seems to get stuck in the fax que and nothing transmits. HP customer service was no help they just stated some extender item for phone line was needed. How can that be when never had an issue with other all in one’s? Any guidance would be wonderful.

@@geekazine ok Cool, and thanks for responding. The reason why I was asking is because I almost bought the printer from OfficeMax, but one of the sales associates said that sometimes because Chromebooks have limited internal memory that it can affect the printing on a HP printer.

What is the difference between Officejet Pro 9025 and 9023 ?
I did not get the 9023. A Google search will get you comparison webpages
1) Scanner: The document feeder is so small and the exit doesn't keep the paper tidy.
2) I hate the 1st paper tray - the paper moves about.
3) The printing exit tray, again paper doesn't lay flat like the HP 8610.
How do I choose a tray to print from. I print avery round lables for work and I loaded them in tray 1 but it printed from tray 2. I loaded into tray 2 and it printed from tray 1. Need help

If it can feed the paper, you can set it in the settings.
Have you any experience with making the bin output full error stop when there is only one other paper in the tray?

I just bought this printer mainly to learn to print some nice pics. I can print the nice pic's but they if I print a full size sheet, I get a wide border down both long sides of the paper. Being that I'm dumb🥴when it comes to techy things, any idea how to get rid of them borders? Any help will be appreciated!

It doesn't do that type of selection. If you have a subject line in your page, it will print it.

Worst printer I have ever owned. Use it on my laptop, office computer and gaming computer. It does not matter what I do, with the software upgrade it keeps going "offline". Tried everything I could find on the web.
This printer sucks. The print quality is terrible and it smears terribly with glossy paper.. Just thought i;d let everyone know..
It is a horrible printer. I will not recommend it this printer.
