Nothing is as it seems when a woman experiencing misgivings about her new boyfriend joins him on a road trip to meet his parents at their remote farm.
I love Charlie Kaufman, he is so adorable. Thanks to Iain Reid for writing this masterpiece.
This, I think, is my favorite movie of 2020 so far.
In fairness there isn’t much competition
Tenet
Fatman
Birds of Prey
Same. It continues to reappear in my mind throughout the day, everyday, since seeing it.
@@CelesteWhoknows same here, can't believe more people aren't taking about it 😅
Absolutely. It was surreal and amazing.
agreed
Felt like you guys reviewing y'all's first date this is so cute
Loved both the book and movie. It's interesting how Reid didn't think of his novel as a psychological horror.
Made a review of both yesterday. It's hard to pick a favourite!
Charlie Kaufman and Iain Reid????? now this is iconic
This is the most comfortable I’ve ever seen Charlie Kaufman 😂
Because interviewers asked simple dumb questions like what inspires you
This movie gets better with every viewing. Bravo Charlie. Also Jessie Buckley was sensational.
The music in this interview is great. Props to whoever choose it
One of the best films of all time.
Should've called this conversation "I'm thinking of talking over the end of your sentence."
what a book!!! what a movie!!!!🎉🎉
Loved the movie and the book. This is great
Loved the book and movie!!
Lv the novel, aftering watching the adapted film, i LV IT MORE; LvU2 cheers
Lovely.
Rogerson Hammerstein earned millions last year and he's been dead for decades. How much did the author of I'm Thinking Of Ending Things earn in royalties in 2020? The answer is in Oklahoma. Near Claremont. Oklahoma is like the serial killers' guide to a successful career.
“Rogerson Hammerstein”? Those are two people. Rogers AND Hammerstein.
Maybe u coud make a bandersnatch version of it where u can pick ur own path lol
Thats a Great Idea!!!

Thinking abt that and then I saw ur comment
The movie was absolutely sublime.
The book? Absolutely subpar.
What are your gripes with the book? I found it well paced and it executed the ‘twist’ reveal in a more effective and frightening way.
This movie was almost unwatchable. It did not make sense and did not have a good ending....or story for that matter.
This movie is pretty close one of the worst I have ever watched. Howard the Duck is better than this movie. People calling this art are simply wrong. It was lazy writing and poor story telling. There was no ending and a the story made no sense. Maybe it's time to retire gentlemen.
Maybe stick to watching marvel movies
