Why criminals were not killed? I dont understand, but I am from Serbia. In my country, we shot the criminal dead for crime like this. Maybe in your country is different?
We do. It depends on the state. Some states have the death penalty. Some don't. Federal has it. Really depends on the state or if it's going to be tried as a federal case
I don't think it should always come down to money. Personally , if one of my family member was murdered I'd feel like a piece of crap thinking about money at all. Plus, this was 28 years ago.

Yes, we don’t have the death penalty in Canada, I live about an hour from here and out justice system is a joke.
It happened 30 mins from where I live . They tore that building down and moved mcdonalds
