This is normal. You need a second monitor for RTG. This is the way It always worked. I used a HDMI switch and a Frameister. There is a work around for the CM4 but it has not been officially released. It will run RGB thru the CM Pistorm board. This is where the Vampire is strong since you don't need to change monitors.
Nice review and the PiStorm32-Lite CM4 is an amazing peace of kit that accelerates the A1200 to a whole new level indeed, it took me weeks to adjust to the fact my A1200 is that fast. I've overclocked my CM4 to 2.2 Ghz and that gives a more than nice extra kick in performance and runs perfectly stable.
If you use WHDLoad you have very good compatibility. I also believe some of it is just the stability of the software. What software in particular are you speaking of? Remember the Kickstart version is also a culprit. If the software is for KS 1.3 you may have issues no matter the accelerator.
You sound like a very tired Louis Rossmann! 😉I had to buy all the separate bits myself and but it together during the component shortage when CM4s weren't really available! You had it easy brother! Glad you got it working though! 😎
Thanks a lot. I just saw the product available and clicked on the button. In the Amiga world you have to be ready. If you blink and click the product is no longer available.
I am using a Dell monitor to see but I am using a Roland Video Switcher that has a scaler and a Framemeister to take the video. Also an Elgato Game Capture HD to record everything. My other video about using Amiga in production shows the switcher.
I am on the same boat as you. I can purchase a full060 but the prices are so high and I already have a TF1260. For the price it may be better to purchase a Pistorm32 Lite CM4 than a Vampire or a full 060. I also have a Vampire for the 1200 but this has so much power it feels faster than a Vampire for the 1200.
Waaait a second!!! Your kit is 2x faster than the non cm4 version (80x A4000 '040)??? (just watched 8bit retro's review ua-cam.com/video/yCvq6aqt96w/v-deo.html , 42,60 x '040)
It’s just a shame you had to buy off the so called Self proclaimed Messiah Steve Clifford of RetropassionUK 😬😞 I’m surprised it ended up at the correct address… Sorry… I won’t be subscribing to this channel. May comeback when you buy from a reputable store….

loving my PiStorm with 3A+ it’s super fast and crazy stable with OS3.2👍
That's great! I may make a new install with 3.2 but Caffeine OS is running perfect now with the changes I made.
Why is RTG mode not supported? When using sysinfo need 2nd minitor is this normal and is there a workaround for RTG mode (apps and games)

Thanks for the info. I was looking at the disabled overclocked settings and was playing with the idea in my head. I think I will give it a shot.
I have a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 2Gb in my PiStorm. Works very nice.
What about compatibility with classic amiga games and applications?
It is not total but very good.
You can use whdload

haha I was just about to type; does it run doom, the moment you open up quake1 !
Works great for RTG. Thanks for watching.
It would be awesome if you did a video about the new RGB passtrough from Claude that soon will be available for Pistorm
I will find out more info about it to see what I can do.
What is the HDMI monitors on your screen?

I'm considering getting the Pistorm32. I currently have a TF1260 with LC CPU (no fpu). I couldn't afford (or want) to pay for a full 060.. hmmmmmm

hey amigo , where i can donwload amigaos3.2 .iso ???
try archive.org/details/software
Always funny to see the SysInfo on these machine. It must be so confused.
I can imagine. Trying to understand a processor speed that it can't quite calculate.
@@Howmanymhz There is a newer Sysinfo out. 4.5 Beta 12. I don't know if it fixes it or not.
I will check it out.
This has been available since about May last year! This isn't a "new" challenger!
You have to click on this video somehow. But versus the Vampire it may be......
Commodore was american, wasnt it?
To bad most of the parts I want to purchase are made in Europe.
strictly speaking canadian !
More like North American.
Hehe
lol. posing with 1000 screens and barely able to show anything.
One can't see enough. What is it? 720p?
No offense..
Should have been a 1080p at least. I am testing an older camera but I may need to just scrap it. Sorry If the resolution was lowered.
@@Howmanymhz Thnk u, for not beeing upset!
I were upset, while the good and interresting things happend to the left, outside the cam view ;D
I was going to be upset and I re-watched the video. You had a great point. The angle was worse then I thought.
@@Howmanymhz I am german, and we are rude ;)
No, we are not, but english is my 3rd language, and apollogize, if I hurt you unessecarely.. Sorry.

It could be. You may be confusing it for a Pi 3.
@@Howmanymhz , you're right, gotta stop late-night watching this kind of stuff XD...
Point the camera at what you are doing, please.. And stay close to the microphone, please..
Thanks for the feedback. Will do.

Here whoever can ship my Amiga part from EU to USA is a good store. But thanks for watching my video.
@@Howmanymhz some are leaving new ones are coming... +SUB!
