I despise professional renters! You get first, last, security and thats it! Never any rent paid, destroys houses to make the court think it’s a dump and needs certain things fixed before they pay rent and drag the process out for months if not years! Glad you got the eviction! 👍😎👏
Thanks Lily Rose. Yes this was a protracted process (made worse by Covid) as had to wait even longer. Now that she has been evicted and room renovated and re - rented i have been in touch with my solicitors to pursue the debt and register it as a CCJ. I have been in touch with a tracing agent and will be posting a video about THAT process (how to trace and register the debt and issue a CCJ) in a new video soon!
Really helpful post, especially the part about the interest added for the number of days they remain after 14 days given to leave - and then the part about the CCJ - thanks.
Thanks for posting. My question: You were able to establish that she was a repeat offender, this would have been valuable info to have before your rented the property to her. How did you find this out ? and Is it possible to get a tenant's previous history for this type of behaviour.
@@azidquidditygroup how long did it take for court to get involved? My application to court is going in next month I hope they get back sooner I really need them out! Well done on ur victory!
@@irfanahmed6871 the usual turnaround is 2-3 weeks but CV19 delayed everything then we had ‘stays’ imposed by the Govt during the pandemic which meant I got the possession order but could t serve it on her. So had to wait another 1.5 months or so to finally evict her. 😅 The govt have just announced (Nov 21) that there will be a ‘stay’ again in Dec 21 (a few weeks) during the X Mas period.
Which solicitor have you used? My tenants have been paying rent but I have served section 21 and they don't want to leave. I want to go live in the property myself and even if I don't want to go through the eviction process I might have to now. I need some guidance please
Hi Parul, Most (good) law firms should be able to help you but happy to share my contacts also. Once you serve S21, the tenants have 8 weeks to vacate and if they dont leave then you will have to apply through the courts to have a court order issued for eviction. Once this has expired you will then have to apply and pay for a sheriff to enforce the eviction notice. Solicitors will be able to guide you through this process. Definitely recommend using a good one! All the best and hope this helps you!

I have been given absolute posession, tenant given 14 days to leave. Council likely tell her to wait until Baliffs. Crap system
did you get the rent arrears paid back in full?
@zeea6507, how long did you have to wait for the bailiffs. Waiting times vary depending on which court in the country you used.
