my 10 year old cat has had an operation to remove one of her eyes. She has a little cataract in the other. that was 3 weeks on Wednesday. She has refused to go to the toilet and not eat for 3 days after the op so we started to take the cone off as she hated it unfortunately she started to scratch at the wound we tried a different cone but it was to easy to get off it has taken this long for the wound to heal but unfortunately the scabs were iitchy when her cone was off she wouldn't leave them alone it has been a most difficult time after eating she like all cats want to wash themselves. that led to scratching so on went the cone to ge anger and disgust she hardly moves when it's on thankfully we have had to trim the cone so she could eat and drink she has scratched another place on the cheek area now. so the cone is back on as she has scratched it raw! I hate seeing her so unhappy thank you for this video I do think it's helping with her stress levels while we all as well as candy go through this difficult time.
