Even when Chinese migrate overseas they are still addicted to their culture. I don't Chinese in Taiwan will deviate much from their culture so I believe English law should modified to Chinese culture. However, I find very find HK people talk about this and I am a bit disappointed. Japanese is a good example on this but why so few people think about it.
Chinese and British are of a different culture. We have Chinese New Year, Mid-autumn Festival, Double Ten Festival, Ching Ming Festival etc. Do you know any of them? Do you play lantern in the MId-Autumn Festival? Do you just enjoy Hong Kong Seven? Do you play Mahjong? When I learned horse riding, the tutor was kind but the problem was that we didn't have a common interest. I don't opine that the British is bad and it is better than a lot of the Chinese but the problem is you don't want to get along with us as Freeland and Trudeau. If you don't want to get along with us, there will be a lot of misunderstanding between us. Unless we are friends I shall keep you are a distance.
What do you gain from this tour? Can you benefit in your career, knowledge, and wisdom? I benefitted a lot from visiting Socrates because he inspired my intelligence. Everything should have its value. If not, could you throw them away? This is why I support Mao's cultural revolution. Why can I accumulate so much knowledge because I take only the core values and eliminate the rubbish? Have you thrown away any rubbish such as law, politics, or English throughout your life? Why can you learn investment, education, and philosophy as I do or learn art such as ikebana, film appreciation, singing, art appreciation, etc.?
