This is the first year I stopped donating to food banks. I want to know my money is going to the people who are here legally and need help. I now seek out a family and donate "direct" cutting out the middle man. This year a family of 4 is going to live rent-free in one of my buildings. That should net them $3K a month toward food and getting out of debt. By the way, they are immigrants who came here legally and just recently became US citizens.

I live in Texas & most jobs here require bilingual in Spanish to be considered for employment. The wages continue to go down, the schools suffer (English is not their first language), trash everywhere (dirty diapers in parking lots, etc), I could go on all day but the people that have not experienced this call me a racist. I am an American & love my country and I am disgusted with what is happening.
