We want repentance of sin and to be forgiven but we don't want consequences of our sins..... And whether we repent or not.... Consequences can't be avoided however the same God who allows the consequences to play out... Also redeem us.
Wow, you ladies flow so well together to bring excellent lessons from the Bible characters penned down by the Holy Spirit. I loved every word and wanted more! Baraka!
I love how Liz breaks down this characters to the T. Thanks Liz, Because of u I now know about Sarah, Rahab and Bathsheba.. I actually had to stop what I was doing to watch this More please?.
Watching Switch TV has been such a blessing for me.I really enjoy every Godly message that is sent.I pray to God Almighty that the wonderful messages spread all over and on everyone so that we all turn to God.After all,all that we do,we should do it to Glorify His name.May God Bless you Mrs Joyce Omondi Wahiga,Pastor Liz,Benjamin Zulu Ke (and yes I know he's not present in the video)and may God Bless every person that you host on this channel to keep doing the good work. Liz pastor am so happy for how you have being used by God to preach the whole story even anybody will understand, where are those long time pastors who taught us the Bible the way you did and that how even now we know the word if God’s , be blessed and please keep up start from genesis to revelation and lemmie tell you those who will listern will never forget the word of God be blessed
Wow Liz you told the story very well through the Holy Spirit. It was well done. Today you have people that would sin and act like nothing happen but David was repentant after he got caught. God punished him anyway. No sin goes unpunished. God took the baby and turn David’s house upside down. Incess was in his house.God is no respecter of anyone no even his servant David.
Very interesting topic. If I focused on the title, I probably wouldn’t have watched it. Would’ve never thought it was about Bathsheba and her perspective. I appreciate the POV on this
People don't realize how powerful the King's position and word was during that era. That's why no one wanted a fool on the thrown. When the king's word went out, there was no retraction. The king couldn't even retract his own words. Of course, there were others who risked their life to oppose the ruler; yet, from what I recall, those people either heard from God directly and was given what to say to the ruler, or had someone close to them that heard from God to instruct them. The Bible doesn't elaborate on that with Bathsheba. I'm only pointing out how powerful his word was to the point that no one could oppose the king, and that was meant to inflict fear. Anyone that did refuse the ruler, it meant sudden death. The king ruled over the palace, court, and all his territories. Plus, no one mentioned the fear that possibly came over her. All sorts of crazy thoughts that possibly went thru her mind. She wasn't saved like we are. She could have told her father or grandfather, but nothing is clear to why she didn't. Or what she's overheard during their talks about court, palace life before she married in order for her to not get counsel from them. In David's state of mind, only Bathsheba and God knew what he said to her. We just don't know, except what we do know is that he did not blame her. As a man who came to himself, he knew he sinned against God. God told him, all you had to do is ask Me for her, if you wanted her, but David didn't want her like that at the time. That, tells a lot about David's relationship with God. He knew he could not lie or cover anything up. Under his conviction, I believe that he wanted to make it up to her, all the pain he caused in her life. She was a candidate for a miracle. She was submissive and called him lord, bowing down to him. David couldn't in his heart deny her when it came to Solomon.
Also to be considered is if David had not taken Bathsheba as his wife. If David did not have a responsible character, he could have left her with he child, a widow and even denied he had sexual relations with Bathsheba. This could have been another outcome of the consequence of sin.
My sister be strong and of good courage , as God has not given us a spirit of fear but of love and sound mind...things happen for a reason! You have a bright future a head of you, God is preparing u for the best! Cheers, be happy, take care of your self , go out and find something to do! God loves u unconstitutional
Go ahead and cry until you can't cry no more. It's take time to heal, so if you want to talk about it, let it out. You are going to be strong from this experience. 💜💙💚
@@roseatukwatse1959 thank you so much! I been through a lot stuff and unfortunately I could not have kids because my fallopian are closed . He left me for another women.
I believe Bathsheba should have said no. But then again, David was the king. I would have packed my bags, gotten on my donkey and gone to war with my husband to run away from this lustful king at home.
David was not lazy, he was idle at that time . He should be paying attension to his army at war. His palace was the tallest building. At that time wemen bath on their roof. On this verander he could see whats happening on every roof.
I'm not sure what they were thinking: Bathsheba knew David was home. Bathsheba seduces David. I've never heard this kind of commentary. Culturally, could Bathsheba say no? Context is necessary in interpretation. Today, for sure I am able to refuse. Even refuse a hug. I can't say whether she was an adulterer.
I love how Pastor Liz Ocampo teaches the word💯
I just love Mrs. Ocampo; she breaks down the the word of God so eloquently. #wearecampo. Great job again with the Bible lesson
I believe God brought me here since he has put the desire of marriage in my heart

Am blessed by that message i
Such passion for God's Word! This was good, but the title was misleading.
AMEN powerful

Eti character. After killing her innocent husband
My ex husband divorced December 2019 and I had been so depressed and crying every time.

Ohh God! I like this . here in Uganda

David was not lazy, he was idle at that time . He should be paying attension to his army at war. His palace was the tallest building. At that time wemen bath on their roof. On this verander he could see whats happening on every roof.
Bathsheba should have stood her ground
We would have had king Adonijah instead. So birth right was stolen here.
@@maryowino9403 I agree Mary and I do have some tensions with some Bible stories like this one.
God works in mistirious ways and his was are past finding. Barsheba obey her king, therefore David is the one that paid for it.
🇧🇼
By the way did Bethsheba know that king David killed his husband?
Probably she thought he just died in war
Basheba had no choice in those days wemen had no choice and David was kinģ.
Joseph resisted Potiphas wife. 👍
He got jailed for 7 yrs
But why was Beth bathing in public

He is the King and a man of God some people can't say No or maybe they think that he is a man of God we can't refuse.
Women Pastors?
Why not
I think she is a victim
