I can't thank you, enough for explaining how to get out of gestures and back to the 3 bottom button set up on my new phone. I've only had it 3 days, but it's been beyond frustrating for this 70 year old. It was taking every swipe imaginable and every curse word this gramma knows to get to the home screen. I've been searching online all am as to how to solve this. So big thank you and I'm heading back to go through more of your video and learn more!

Gesture is the way to go. I didn't understand it at first but once I did I'll never go back.
The 3 button is basic, intelligent fluidity is what I love in anything operable.
Why plug in that card for wireless charging as opposed to yr regular charger? I don't see the benefit
Extended port life. If your not one for using your port for data transfer and only for charging this could extend the life of the port. The less often you interact with the port means the less chance this becomes a flaw a down the line.
In case your regular charging port broke
Hmm...I don't think this works for what I want... I like wireless charging for just in case the usb-c charging port gets worn out...

Smart ass question: Who of you would keep that wireless adaptor always plugged into your phone? Who of you would keep the adaptor sitting next to the charger to plug it in to your phone whenever you were going to charge it, basically the same as though you were just using a cord (LOL) ?
Very helpful tips 👍👍 Question my stylus clicks into place but it comes out easily when I activate the 2 chops for the flash light it comes out when I just simply place it in my purse it comes out as well. Any suggestions?

I actually bought this phone yesterday just to put my second SIM card in there for travels so that when I travel I have both American and European number working. So it's like a spare phone... but the more I use it the more I think it's better than my main phone (iPhone 7). And for the price I paid it's incredible! Solves all my needs. 2 apps on the screen option is just awesome!
So maybe in a week or two my phones will switch places and the iPhone will become a "spare" one lying on the shelf haha
Thanks for the tips, my favorite was changing the gesture feature back to the normal three icons at the bottom of the screen.

Honestly, as basic as it is, the gesture to get to the open apps without going to home first was the most helpful for me. I couldn't figure it out. I've gotten most everything else.
Sigh, I'm way too broke for getting the adapter. I had really hoped there was a way to do this natively. I have a third-party wireless charger laying around I wanted to try....
Yes I watched and I am happy about the video on wireless charging. My favorite thing on my cell phone is everything but if I had to pick shaking the phone and your flashlight comes on, twisting hand and camera comes on, though shake again goes from front to back 4 camaras still photos when driving down the road, also 128 gigs with gaming so do not disturb. I couldn't choose 1 I had to pick all. Thank you for tutorial.

The Chi wireless tip is what I was looking for. The control button change sounds great because I use gesture endlessly and it won't work. There's no sensitivity setting to alter the pressure switch for when you have a screen saver like my Samsung phone had. Lastly, my keyboard is constantly inputting unwanted characters with symbols above them or numbers. The Moto G apparently allows for choosing a number in lieu of a letter if you hit say the top right of the letter or somehow maybe top left you gets letter with a apostrophe above it like some French words have. Both of these options are EXTREMELY annoying. You didn't mention how to get rid of them however adding a number line may correct some of that problem. Not one time have I ever wanted an apostrophe above a letter or a number in lieu of a letter. That engineer should have his mental capacity checked. Who can possibly hit a letter in the exact spot for either?

Just got my Moto G Stylus and I love it thanks to this video. Best tip? Hard to say because I love them all and incorporated them all. I did especially like the keypad tips, making it bigger, changing colors, adding the emoji and numbers. These will definitely make my life easier. Loved being able to turn off gestures!! Game charger, and thanks for the tip to put a row of #s like I'm used to. Have had this phone 7 months now. Still don't love it, but I like it better now. Going to look into getting a wireless adapter, never heard of that.
Got this phone about 2 weeks ago and was stumped. Now I understand how the gesturing is just an alternative to the lower buttons. As an older guy, I am not so interested or capable of learning too many new things. Thanks for explaining in such a way that I can understand.
Mind you, for now I will stay with the 3 buttons at the bottom (even though my last phone had 5)

Do you know anything about the lock screen with the clock?
There isn't much variety on the types of clocks that I've encountered but you cans scroll through them by tapping on the arrow inside the clock circle. You can also adjust widgets and such by holding a finger on the home screen. That's about all I'm aware of.
I have so many questions about the stylus pen functions... I'm having a hard time with mine. For instance I can't figure out how to open it up and just instantly take a note even from the lock screen.... I'm also not able to figure out how to draw on the screenshot the part that I want absolutely no idea how to do the gif maker..🙄

I regret getting this phone, I don't understand how a phone in 2023 doesn't have a built in charging coil. If it was a $40 phone, sure, but Boost mobile must be getting these with lower specs, I've seen these with 256/6gb mem, and mine that I got from boost is a 128/4gb mem Version. I assumed they were all the same across carriers. Guess not. And this is why you pay more on top tier carriers like at&t or Verizon.
I bought a new Hyundai Elantra 2023 he said that it would charge his Motorola stylus and the only reason it wouldn't work is because he had a case on it. He took it off and it still doesn't work. As a single dad I highly doubt I can afford to buy him one of these. Single dad's aren't allowed to get child support so it's hard sometimes to lay for extra things like this. Can you lmk how much this would cost so I can get my little UA-camr a charger on road trips. HaydenGamez is angry at the Hyundai sales rep lol

I had a magnetic charger and it ruined my moto g stylus so I just bought a moto g stylus 5G 2022 and would love to have the charging disc for the phone. Thank you for this video. I learned more information for my phone that I could have used 2 years ago....Thank you......
Nicely done, thank you, got halfway through it until I realized it it did not apply to the 5G stylus that I have, I came here trying to solve the slow charging that has jumped aboard lately, I restarted it two days ago and it went back to fast charging but now it's at a dinosaur Pace again, do you have a 5 G stylus tips video? Regarding wireless charging it was interesting to see that the device that you use plugs into the charging port, my backup phones are old Nexus 6, I love them, except for the battery life, but what a remarkable phone and you can wirelessly charge them without plugging in a device, just put them on the charging station, interesting how that phone has aged so well, I'm using Android 6.0 and everything's functional, obviously the 5G Stylus is a superior phone but it doesn't have stereo speakers or an AMOLED screen, additionally when using the 5G stylus as a phone people complain of batshit crazy noise in the background when I'm doing nothing but sitting on the couch in a quiet room, ending rant now
When I press the power button, I no longer see Power Off, Restart, Screenshot & Emergency on the right side any more. Now it appears on top showing only Emergency, Power Off, Restart (without the screenshot). Is this due to an update that I did? How do I bring the right side bar back? Can anyone please help?

Why won't my delete button in 'Phone' delete calls. I haven't tried 'Delete' All Calls' because I don't want ALL calls deleted. So I press the Calls button and wait for the menu to come down, and I press the 'Delete' button and nothing happens.
Thank you for sharing these tips I am new to this phone I bought a wireless charger but was not sure how to enable wireless charging. I found that having to add an adapter is not something I would have known without this information. I bought a wireless charging stand compatible for both iphone and Android and that is all there is. I am not sure if I am seating the phone correctly on the charger and no adapter. The phone does not show it is charging. Thanks again for your video tips

You know you can take a screenshot just by holding 3 fingers down anywhere on your screen right? Seems to me like a much easier way than the one you showed, but hey I'm not the guy with the tips and tricks UA-cam page so maybe I'm wrong....

I'm not impressed with the self charging pad because with my Samsung S8 all I had to do was turn on the internal function and put it on a charging pad and then it automatically charged from the pad I didn't have to add nothing to the phone

People need to give the new way they have on the Motos a CHANCE for gods sake. They must believe a lot in it to make it default like they do. I think it's intimidating to many people just because they're inpatient and don't want to learn new things. Lol
How is this any better than a wired charge? You still need to use the charging port, you still need the disc to be plugged in. It's just adding one more step in between. What is needed is a way to charge the phone if your port is fucked up.
Loved seeing battery percentage on top corner of scree. Also l need to know how to add my contact names to my Bluetooth. Only numbers show up and l do t want to answer unnessary calls when driving. I need my contact names associated with the number to show up while I am driving.

Yeah the gesture system for Motorola is actually really nice. Some people just can't stand change or adaptation to things. It's no different than when you first learned your Galaxy setup, it took a couple days to get used to also. Stop being an inpatient lazy ass they made it this way because it is awesome when you get used to it.

This is not mirroring. It's casting through Chromecast with screen mirroring you don't have to have Wi-Fi it's point to point instead of going through a Wi-Fi router please fix the description

I got this phone a couple of weeks ago and I hate it. It's heavy and it's constantly freezing up. Sometimes it won't even let me make a phone call. Took it back to the store they gave me another one and it's the same crap.

What's the purpose of "wireless charger if I I'll still need to connect the charging adapter to the port that isn't charging my phone 😅
