The reason why he makes these videos so long is because google no longer pays youtubers per views but rather per viewing lengths.
Ever notice how most of the videos now are 7,8,10+ minutes than before? That's them adapting, short videos don't make a decent amount of money. And this basically screws over animators who can't viably make long animations consistently, they take a lot more effort and time to make than making presentation or commentary videos (With exceptions on both sides but I'm speaking generally).
So these long videos hinge on people (with no adblock presumably) who would watch a couple of videos all the way through.
For most of you who have already seen everything, just watch the first animation which is usually the new one, and pass on the rest, easy. (Or just leave the whole thing running while you mute the browser and go do something else to support this animator.)
