Hope this week's video helps keep your ride running smooth. I did not include in the video but should have.... The tire pressures could be located in the frunk or under the seat on an RT, but should always be in the Manual. If you liked the video, please leave a thumbs up on it, and don't forget to subscribe. Your support helps make future videos possible, so thanks for that!
I have a 2015 F3 with 50,000 miles. The only thing I check weekly is the tire pressure. I checked the oil level once and it never dropped below the full mark between oil changes. I found two pebbles embedded into the belt and pry them out with a pick. I filled the holes with construction adhesive and so far no problems. The only other thing I would suggest checking is your ball joints. I’ve had to replace two of those. I say just ride that thing and don’t overthink it. The worst thing people do is let their toys sit for long periods.
Thanks for the comment and support. The Spyders are pretty reliable and oil is not an issue it seems with them as you mentioned. You are very right about one thing for sure and that is Spyders hate to sit. The only time i have had problems is if it sits for a while. Mine gets mad at me if i do let it sit especially for more than a week. Thanks again for watching and support!!
Well done mate great video with good tips nice that you mentioned the tyre pressure when cold as there is a variation what about running the motor prior the oil level as the Spyder has a dry sump.
Thanks! I will have another video out soon about checking the oil in more details where I do cover running the engine before checking and what to do. I didnt want to make a super long video, so just kept it short and just pointed it out. It is really impressive how well the Spyder does on oil. I try to check it once a week just for habit. Thanks for the support!
Very thorough inspection tips! I had no idea that sticker with the tire pressures was in the frunk... I ran right out to the garage to make sure I had a sticker there, lol. How many times have I had that frunk opened and have never paid any attention to that sticker? Thank you! 😁👍
Thanks for the comment! You had me worried when you said you ran out to look! Some Spyders dont have it in the frunk but they are starting to put them there. Glad it was there! Some RT models have them under the seat which I forgot to add on the video but will do so in the comments.
You should actually drive it 10 miles then idle, good news is I have a video on that as well: ua-cam.com/video/T3z-Lu31hkI/v-deo.html Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for the comment and support!
Thank you so much for the information. I didn't want to get too caught up in how good the spyder looks, and not know how to take care of it. LOL & for real. I noticed you did not mention the coolant. Is that usually something you never need to worry about, unless there is a noticeable leak?
You do need to change it, but not like every 1000 miles or something like that. You want to check every 3000 miles for sure and top it off if it needs it, looking at it once a month is a good idea too ( I check about every 1000 miles and top it off if needed) It is best to change it every 25000 miles for sure. They are pretty well made and don't go through liquids and oils a lot. I will have future videos on more items like that as well. There will be one on coolant and checking it, toping off, and flushing. I am currently making several and one is on maintenance schedules and how much I have paid for some. Thanks for the support!

@@MOABMAN 😁👍
Before checking oil you should run the engine for 10 minutes to get an accurate reading
