Transforming Annie Lennard Primary School with Groundwork UK: Outdoor Learning Area

As part of our charity initiatives this year we wanted to enrich the learning experiences for pupils in our local communities. In partnership with Groundwork UK, we gave Annie Lennard Primary School in Smethwick an outdoor learning area and sensory garden.
Through a competition we ran in the West Midlands, Annie Lennard was selected for their fantastic idea to turn a disused area on their grounds into an area for exploring wildlife and telling stories. Some of the West Midlands team were able to get down and dirty and help build the area too. Take a look at how the team transformed the space!
The initiative to transform an outdoor learning area is part of our Charity Cup competition, where our internal team earn points for charity involvement. The team that wins the most points can give a school of their choice an outdoor learning area built by Groundwork UK.
We hope Annie Lennard loves the new space as much as we enjoyed building it!
