  • I've stayed in many "party hostels", but as a digital nomad I'm searching for better hostels where I can focus, work, and be productive. Siam Subway was a great find because of it's central location, relaxing aesthetic, great food, friendly staff, and most of all it's multiple working spaces. Check out this tour of Siam Subway Hostel & Cafe and let me know if you'd stay here during your stay in Bangkok Thailand!

Hey Bro, your content is fantastic and I love watching your videos! If you're looking to capture smoother shots, I'd suggest investing in a good quality stabilizer or gimbal. These tools can really help eliminate shaky footage and give your videos a more professional look. Keep up the awesome work!

Thanks a lot. Funny story actually. I have a Ronin gimbal, and used it a bunch last year in a few countries. I was using a Sony a6400 and a Sigma prime lens. Both didn’t have stabilization.
It was a lot of work try carry around all day, so I recently got a Sony ZV-E1 specifically for its stabilization (and other features). The goal was to ditch the gimbal and travel more easily.

I agree that the shakiness is quite jarring, so I’m going to continue experimenting to balance steadiness and portability.

Wow! The attention to detail is impressive. I think it's a really good deal considering the price and its location. Also looks super clean!

I agree! The more I looked around, the more I grew to appreciate the thought they put into it!

Are you allowed to smoke in the open area? If not, is there any place near this hostel to smoke? Tia

You cannot smoke inside in that area. Just outside the front door there’s a bench and ashtray where you can smoke. It’s small but clean

one bed in mixed dorm , what does it mean?? is it easy to use shower and toilet in these mixed dorm ,as there are many people using it same time. hey which one is better hotel or hostel in every aspect like money comfort , ease of use of bathroom and comfort in sleeping at night, and what about someone farts at middle of the night. do hostel have air Freshener in their dorm?

There’s a lot to say about hotel vs hostel. I’ll try to keep it short. Hotel gets you a private room, private bathroom, and all together you can expect a private experience. Your belongings are kept securely in your room, but it all together costs significantly more. Hostels can have private rooms but mostly people use them for the dorms. Private rooms are like a hotel but may or may not have attached bathroom, and cost more than dorms usually less than hotels. But it’s sometimes nice because you can share the public spaces with others and mingle, especially if they have a bar or events. Dorms are the cheapest. Mixed means boys and girls, while others may be all female. You share the room (and yes, farts, snoring, people making noise at sleep hours). They’re great for making friends and staying for cheap.

I usually get hotel rooms these days because I like to be able to leave my laptop and stuff out instead of putting everything in lockers when I leave. But here and there I like to get a hostel and talk to people about travel. I’ll be doing this soon and I’ll be sure to talk about this for you!

Also, the strictness of dorms varies a ton. In Japan people are super respectful with noise, hour of day, lights, smells, etc. but in certain countries people talk and drink and just don’t care
