Such good acting, you really get the vibe that they ARE friends, joes character would have murdered ANYONE else for that shit but he is TRYING not to kill his best friend but also not let his friend disrespect him at all. great scene with believable chemistry.

Deniro had the casino and the mafia was making a killing long before Pesci showed up in Vegas. Everything was on the up and up and the mafia was already making their money. If this movie is as accurate to the real story as people say it is, the mafia would still be running Vegas today had it not been for the guy Pesci plays. Keeping shit quiet is ALWAYS the better way. Ego will always ruin the whole house. I don’t think this movie could’ve been any better and IMO comes in a close 2nd to Goodfellas.
