@@BuyitBreakitFixit yep ,gotta do a little dremel cutting to get it to fit ,use a standard aluminum horn replace the servo horn with aluminum ,good to go ,I run mine on pto line trenches
Yeah man, hence the name. Hahaha I have run the traxxas trx6 on 6s, trx4 sport with tracks in 6s, they all took it. Love testing things. Some people do not like to see things mistreated. Lol
@@BuyitBreakitFixit that's awesome lol, sounds like a blast to drive. I picked up the trx4 as my first hobby grade a month ago, I bring it on all my hikes. Just hit 200 trail miles on it. Can't believe how reliable it has been. No mods, just a metal servo horn the hobby shop suggested.
That's a pretty cool vidio. Should split the case and see if its wet inside. Also wanted to share some good news, or at least I think it's good news, I got a trx4 kit for Christmas. Lots of fun putting it together. Waiting for the right body. Just thought I would share that with one of my favorite rc UA-cam guys. Thanks for reading.
The 444 is rated at Waterproof, along with the 555. The 422HD v2s and the 777s are rated at Submarine waterproof standards. This is very good info. I have 2 trip 5s and a 422HDv2 in my Gen8 Axe rig. Also, I have a pair of the Micros and another Trip 5 coming for the SCX10 III kit I just got.
Yep, They sure are. The t4 is not submarine though and that is what I wanted to show everyone. Reef knew what I was doing and was a little nervous but I had so much faith. He said it's not a submarine. Haha anyway, all work as I expected. I am a big supported of Reefs Rc products also. I have t5, 3- t4, 2-raw 500, micro99, 299 low profile winch, rock slider for the element and sway bar. Lol Great guy, great company, great products. Have you seen the new line up with all matching cases now?
Dang Ben that was a test alright...Now I know what brand servo I'll need for a submarine..You should of ask lexa how many days will it take before is craps out lol...Lexa would know..THumbs up bud!
This is it, To my knowledge. I talked to Reef's and they said they never did one for that long. it is in the MST CFX-W now so we will see if it last. It should, I have faith. Thanks for watching.
Cool test, thought it was in acid looking at the bubbles lol. Saving mine for a new project when I get some more funds, love this servo... I now have a pulsar quantum xq30v thermal scope and will have to see how hot the slash is after a good run, It has a updated to a brushless motor so is very fast now. Be good all : )
Awesome. Exocage is the man when it comes to testing and always provides great honest reviews. Numbers don't lie. Glad we could help. Reefs is awesome. If you order one, in the notes, tell him your story, helps both channels out and he will send ya dome stickers.🤣
I just checked and most suppliers coupons work with Reefs. How has the servo done for you so far? I was looking at the Savox 1210sg or 1275tg, but keep hearing they are reliable but loud and sometimes glitchy. I also looked at the Promodeler 475. Let me know what way you’d go at under $100
I love the triple 4 and the triple 5. The 4 has been tested in water and still has not had one issue. I know there are equivalent seevos on the market compared to reefs but they are good people and back their products. I hav a savox 1210 and it is powerful as ever but is so annoying sitting there chattering the while time. Reefs is totally my go to servo and the triple 4 is like 90. Hope that helps.
Buy it Break it Fix it thanks. I’m considering the Promodeler 470 as well given they appear to have a good following (also PM is assembled in USA), so I’d pay $10 for that factor
Thanks for your input. It was just a test to prove how good their product is. Sorry you couldn't understand that. Servo is still working and hasn't been rebuilt Thanks for the comment.
😃👍Nice water testing.
Thanks bro. I am so behind on videos, catching up on yours tonight so get ready for some notifications. lol
Great vid today- thanks!
thanks. appreciate that
Got 555 in my x max ,love it ,putting another one in my scx10 mega mud truck 👍👍
Awesome. How does it perform in the X Maxx? They are great servos.
@@BuyitBreakitFixit so far so good, even hit telephone pole head on ,broke a arm ,servo still good 👍👍
Sweet. Good to know. Was wondering about putting a standard size in there with the adapter. Good to know. Thanks.

Im gonna have to get 1 of these
Worth it.
Neat video, just picked this up at my local hobby shop.
Thanks. After I did this, Reefs recommended opening it up for maintenance but I refused, lol. Still running strong without issues. Thanks for watching

If your Rc car is under water for 5 days , you have bigger problems than a servo. Kind of a pointless test
