I remember when dong wook says he will not accept fantasy drama again after goblin . But look at him now, another fantasy is successful again because of him.
To be honest my first impression about the leading lady was she really fits the role. She can be plain and simple (like the usual aura of directors) and charming like a princess. Her beauty is refreshing. She has that 'I'm real' vibe though the genre of the drama is fantasy. The leading man is unrealistically handsome in some scenes in which I think no one but him can pulled it off like he did. He's a really excellent actor, I can say. Both of them, actually.
And she has brains to figure out what's happening, unlike in general fantasy genre of dramas, female lead is dumb and is always the damsel in distress....

And most importantly it turned Korean mythology to reality with modernised ways, it had no white truck involved in the car accident of the parents and the sacrificial death of the brothers for love and brotherhood.. There were no hint of a typical Korean drama plots and endings

The Grim Reaper and the Gumiho are supernatural creatures/entities. Played by the same actor but with completely distinct personalities, little quirks and mannerisms. Love the acting range by LDW. You won't confuse one character for the other.
Donwook is perfect for this drama. I remember him playing in "Strangers from hell" and he did such a great job and now on this. It's been only 2 eps and this drama already caught my attention and makes me to keep watching it which some dramas get boring after 5 episodes. So I'm really looking forward to see more
it is cool because the genre of the music is rock. and rock gives a really cool vibe. also, rock bands dont always get to sing for the first ost of a drama. prolly bc bands are not as famous as ballads and mainstream pop in korea.
