- This is the Follies final season; come see us and say goodbye before our curtain comes down for the final time May 18, 2014. More info at www.psfollies.com
The Follies celebrates the music, dance and comedy of the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s, with world-renowned guest stars, international variety acts and their Legendary Line of Long-Legged Lovelies and Follies Gentlemen, all old enough to remember the way it really was!
Love our Palm Springs follies.
I was a original partner with Riff M, the best ever GM and host ❤
I worked for Riff Markowitz in the 80's when he and Lewis Chesler were producing "The Hitchhiker." What a wonderful man to be associated with. Watching these excerpts I can see that Riff never changed. He just got better. Ahhh, fond memories.
This show had it all; glitz and glamour, talent, humor, "vaudeville acts" (frank olivier), a special star (darlene love), beautiful costumes, extra specially gorgeous, good dancing, singing, choreography, lighting, music AND Riff who cracks me up...precision...excellence in all areas. We will miss this PS institution!
So Sad I will not be able to see or take my children in thee future to see the FABULOUS FOLLIES! I went for the first time ever last year and fell in love with the whole show and cast it was phenomenal I ended up seeing the show twice and came back this year for the last hurrah and saw it twice again! Definitely going to miss the Follies and Palm Springs just won't be the same with out you all!!
Loved, loved, loved the Follies. Wonderful entertainment. Seeing the beautiful, talented senior citizens perform gave encouragement to all the seniors in the audience. It was therapeutic. They took us down memory lane and gave us back a little but of our younger years. What a gift! Riff, is the best. Loved his humor that so gently poked fun at us and at himself. He is the Follies. Thank you Palm Springs Follies for your great entertainment. But, I have to ask: Do you really have to go?????
I saw both Susan Anton and Darlene Love this final season and thoroughly enjoyed them both along with Riff Markowitz and the entire amazing cast of the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies. I'm so sorry to see the show close and will miss knowing I can get three solid hours of the most entertaining show ever produced each Holiday Season and Spring. I want to wish all the contributors a very happy future and hope to see them all perform again.
I don't know how and why the show closed but I'd love to see it reopen here, in St. Louis, MO at the Fabulous Fox Theater .
EDDIE JAMES, MY PAL WAS IN THESE SHOWS...GREAT DANCER & PAL, TOO...JE..WEHO
Whether it's the Palm Spring Follies, the Geritol Follies, or any Follies....... it's a sad time for all.
Movement is life and you are never too old to do anything what ancient Chinese say. I myself like to dance with swords, fans, make costumes and other things... just for fun.
