- In this video Angela shows you her vintage perfume bottle collection. Not a huge collection as our collections go, however it is cute and looks so nice on the corner shelf in our master bathroom area. These perfume bottles have been picked up here and there out in our shopping excursions and every year she picks up a couple of new pieces to add to it. Westmoreland, Avon are some of the bottles shown here. This collection goes with her ormolu jewelry boxes and amethyst glass collection. The Estee Lauder bottle of "Youth Dew" was the first perfume I bought when I started working pre 1962. It was everyone's favorite and I still buy their products today. Love seeing Angela's "stuff"!!

I lived for youth dew back in the days.I had newly migrated from a third world country and was so young and excited to be in America.When I hot a job bought one. I would wear it only when I get really dressed up especially for church.I had a secret name for it...."My rich white lady perfume"I felt so special and so wealthy (with not a penny to my name)when I wore this perfume.It took me to another level. The set came with powder bar soap lotion and perfume.I was on cloud nine. Thanks for listening to am old lady's rant😂🙏❤

It's so nice to see Angela and both of you up front! I enjoyed the lovey vintage bottles. So special and unique each one. So nice to know these pretty piece's didn't end up in land fills! I won a bottle of Youth Dew in my 20s from a dept store! Oh Wow! Was I over the moon thrilled. Yes. Loved the bottle and gold bow however, the scent isn't my choice. Very strong. Whew! Kept it tho for yrs!! What a nice inviting bathroom and a lady's touch!! Loved the shelf units. I caught a glimpse of the vintage mirror!! How precious!! My mother in law used youth dew. When our daughter was little she went off to play in grandma’s bedroom and sprayed a large portion of a bottle of youth dew on her. It was so bad my mother in law gave her a bath and and laundered her clothes before I got back. Love of all of Angela’s perfume bottles. I collect the miniature bottles and have almost 30.

Nice to finally see your wife Angela. Some of those perfume bottles are beautiful, and so is the mirror tray. You two have beautiful things! It is normal for wives not to want to be on camera. I've noticed that. A lot of men who have UA-cam channels, you never see their wives. I don't want to be on camera most of the time either, unless I'm dressed up. And I shy away from people who whip their phones out for a picture. LOL.

Love this sharing your collection. Afraid I got caught up in collecting miniatures since the 'full sizes' were just too expensive! Love the shapes, color and if worn looking all the better. As an Ebay seller I did sell a couple of the larger perfume bottles, collectors make the world go round!

Loved the first pair of bubble bath bottles as well as your inherited moon bottle the most. Oh, the mirrored tray is gorgeous too. I can't do perfumes, strong aromas make me turn green however, I do have one beautiful empty perfume bottle my Mum was getting rid of, pretty sure you'd like the colour. I love vintage and antique perfume bottles and perfumes. I collect those, too. A friend used to call Youth Dew, “Youth Don’t!” That always cracked me up. 😁 I have that same bottle. The D’Orsay bottle must be quite old. I also have Chanel No. 5 Eau Premiere. I broke the little round atomizer cap that the perfume sprays through just the other day. Annoying. I have to find another one that will work now. I enjoyed seeing all those! Thank you for sharing, Angela. 💝

Hello Jeff and Angela, Thank you for another peaceful happy interlude! It was great to see the two of you together showing a collection, in this case, perfume bottles. It is always great to see the two of you discussing something together and I guess the collection is Angela’s after all (?). They were all lovely and interesting. I especially liked the tour of the bathroom where they are normally kept (I think). I saw that corner shelf along the wall and immediately thought Jeff built that. It looked hand crafted for that very space and not the normal store bought stuff. Could be wrong, but…. Also writing about the Bavarian pitcher episode. Those were gorgeous, I mean really! We immediately started to look on EBay and Etsy for some. First we found was for around $30 dollar; not too bad. So encouraged, we went to the next one that looked promising….Yikes! over $1000 dollars!!! Oh, well, it was nice to consider collecting them for a nanosecond LOL. Two wonderful collections! So enjoyed seeing them. I know I’m commenting on shows two weeks back (we haven’t missed any), but writing has had to take a back seat to current crazy activities. I may have mentioned that a really bad storm went through here about a month ago, lots of damage, mostly wind. I thought we lost about 20 mature trees in our smallish woods, but after tearing into it turns out it is more like 40. Along with losing part of the barn roof, I have been very busy attending to this mess along with the professionals helping us. I can only say that theses days tend to be crazy busy and the calm, friendly peaceful interludes you all provide and even more appreciated and welcome than ever! Your most recent about the Daytona flea market was crazy. We catch so many glimpses of interesting stuff, it can drive us nuts. Wish we could go and thanks for sharing.

Youth Dew was my favorite. I wore that when I started dating my husband in the late 60's. I bought it at Woolworth's and the other that was always next to it on the shelf was Evening In Paris (which I hated) but it had a beautiful blue bottle. This is a really lovely and large collection. The matching bubble bath bottles were very cute. Thanks for the peek into the bath. Loved the statue (Venus de Millo?). Perfect place for that. I probably wouldn't have thought about putting that in the bath. Love that you did .
