Great call with a Cat and His Boy. Games like this are what make me proud to be in this hobby. Games really can be an art form, especially when tackling touchy subject matter, but in such a respectful and heartwarming way.
Great video man! Love seeing people talk about Cave Story - to use your term, that's a really important one for me. Surprisingly it's not nearly as expensive to pick up physical as I would have thought either, and it even comes with a manual and OST!
Hey, enjoyed the video! Have you heard of or played any of these games? Death & Taxes Foretales Dandy Ace Samurai Bringer I don't see much coverage on em but they look interesting
I see a couple that tap me on the shoulder. Horizon Chase 2 for sure, especially since I reviewed the original early on my channel’s life and LOVED it!
I forgive you for missing a month. A Cat and His Boy sounds interesting. Was it ever on anything else? Almost seems like a Playdate game. Trombone Champ looks like a sequel to Wii Music. I got Felix the Reaper another time it was cheap like this. I have a couple levels a try, it's pretty nifty. Ah, you are a fan of Suikoden (said in a Psycho Mantis voice). This is the reason you and Generation Pixel are internet friends. I played and loved the original a thousand years ago, but have not played others in the series. That is my flaw.
Wait you're telling me horizon Chase 2 isn't locked to the epic game store and I just spent money making it was? I mean I know it was on Apple Arcade or whatever but it was my understanding that now it's locked because epic bought them. I wonder if I can get a return because now I kind of wanted on the switch
Cave Story + is a great game and it was about this time last year that I played it on the switch. I loved it. I am certainly keeping the new Prince of Persia game on the back of my mind. I do love metroidvania's so I can't imagine why I wouldn't like it. Oh and Scott absolutely had to grab Eiyuden Chronicles. Day 1 purchase! PS-You and Scott have lots in common. He too was raised by his mother and Grandmother ❤
Scott's got that kind of energy I like - he's my kind of people. ❤ I think those of us dudes that were lucky enough to have a loving support structure from our grandparents and moms are uniquely geared towards being better men and fathers, things I know Scott exudes. He's someone I look up to, truly - I just wish ya'll were closer so we could spend more time together! You should absolutely play Prince of Persia. I waffled on it for MONTHS and regret doing so! It's brilliant!
@@SquarePegs I feel 100% we would be hanging out all the time and our boys would have fun together too and I've always said I think Scott is the man he is because of those old school values that his grandmother instilled in him.

I second the praise for Battle Chef Brigade! Fun and unique mix of genres, and would love to see a sequel.
Some interesting titles, Horizon Chase though is a must for me! Love racers! Sweet vid my friend 😎
Now that I have a Switch, I’m checking out your hidden gems videos! The Horizon Chase game has me intrigued! I love racing games!

Ys Viii Lacrimosa of Dana is a hidden gem. It is a game better than both Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Mario Odyssey.
Sqaure Pegs back in action
Prince of Persia a hidden gem 😂! More looks like a unhidden gem!
300k units sold would say otherwise, my man. 😉
TGIF Jay!
Amen, Sarge!
More like hidden flops haha
Man, sick burn. You really got me.
